hi guys
have got my keywords
what i am wondering is say the keyword is weightloss australia does my whole site have to be optimized for the keyword or just one page and make sure i include a site map if i do the second - which one is correct helop pls

    No, you must create only one page for one keyword or to say it the other way round always create a webpage that is optimized for just one keyword.

    Yes, always make a sitemap and place a link to the first as well as the second page in this. Here is in short what you must do.

    Let's say you have a list of 5 keywords which based on your keyword research have low competition. Then,

    1) Create one webpage for 1 keyword so you'll have a 5 paged website. One of these will be your homepage (I.e index.html)
    2) Create a Sitemap.html with nothing but a list of hyperlinked keywords to all respective pages for those keywords.
    3) Place a link to Sitemap.html from homepage so that Googlebot finds all your pages quickly.
    4) create a Contact.html page with your email adress.
    5) Link Contact.html from homepage as well as Sitemap.

    For starters, I think you would want to optimize a site for a lot more than one keyword, I would stick to 1 to 2 keywords per page.

    I would recommend optimizing different pages on your webite for different keywords.

    Try and find some less competive keywords for your sub pages and blog posts - even if these only get a few hundred searches a month, if you repeat the process, these visitors will start to add up.

    Don't forget one of the most imortant things - building lots of backlinks.
