Saving Google Map Images to Server
Maybe someone can help me figure out if this is possible through the Google Maps API...
I'd like to be able to create a page where a person can put in an address and get a map rendered on-screen where they can position it the way they want, set the zoom, etc. That part is pretty easy.
But then I want to be able to save that exact image on the server (not on their desktop).
Is this possible? Some way of creating a button that executes a server-side command, taking whatever the viewing area of their map was and fetching that same screen they're seeing as an image to save to the server?
