Noob question

Hey everyone!

I'm new to IM and just joined the forum - I look forward to communicating with you all in the future.

I'm just curious, does everyone here use their real names when selling ebooks etc? I'm just asking because in my "day-job" it would be considered a conflict of interest if I had other business ventures.

And also, what is the general consensus as to the best method of "getting your feet wet" with regards to making money online?

    I second what Jack said although I myself use my real name for everything. In your case, I would definitely use a pen name.

    It's highly recommended you get a domain name to do business online.

    In that case I would say your e-books were a suchandsuch.com production.

    Alot of the top marketers online use a pen name. No biggie, i've done it myself (and still do). To get your feet wet, sell a $7 product and make an easy sale, then begin doing backend marketing with more $7 products. (just to get your feet wet).
