Buy visitor, then retargetting, is it work? [ASK]

Hi warriors..

I want to ask, if I buy visitor, for example, from PTC neobux, pop up advertising, then after several month, I stop buying traffic and then start retargetting, maybe use adroll, adwords, etc, is it work?

    Why don't you test it? Set up landing pages for each of your traffic sources and see if you can get conversions via retargeting. I'll interject that really depends on the buying cycle of of your product. For example, the vast majority of our customers make decisions fairly quickly so we need to hit them with retargeting much heavier early on, or we'll lose them completely.

      My suggestion is . . . don't do it.

      It sounds like your plan is to buy traffic in one niche and later "retarget" and send that same traffic to a different niche offer. Is that correct?

      If so, there are several problems with what you're proposing:
      • Your original prospects didn't give you permission to contact them in the new niche.
      • Your prospects aren't going to have an interest (in almost all cases) in the new niche.
      • You will have upset people contacting you wondering exactly what you're doing and why you're sending offers they haven't specifically requested.
      • Your conversions will be so low that you may as well start over and begin marketing professionally.
      • You'll gain the reputation of being a spammer.
      Let's see, are there any other downsides to your plan . . . hmm!
