In my opinion, generating traffic on your own will always produce better results. Learn a bit about SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Social Media is another great way to drive quality traffic to your sites and blogs.

Just traffic is useless - you need laser targeted traffic. Traffic sites don't always send that. Matter of fact most of the times they send redirect traffic. Why don't you do something niche specific? What niche are you in BTW? P.M me with your niche and I might be able to help you.

We have quite a few campaigns on sitescout right now, so I can say they are good. BUT, I will also say that MOST traffic sources are good, it just depends on your offer/product/service and your ability to test, tweak and optimize.

Because if you're not good at testing, tweaking and optimizing, you'll hop on sitescout, spend $500, get a bit of traffic, make no conversions, and then quit. That's what about 95% of people do.

So getting into paid traffic is great, it's the one thing that will scale up your business very FAST, BUT know that you've got to optimize as you go along.

So take it easy at first, spend a few bucks a day, gather some data, and then optimize as you go along.

Depending on your offer, I'd probably stay away from sitescout for now, and focus on either Google or Facebook.

I am able to provide a personal opinon on sitescout.com and that is "it works" - great retargeting network.

My opinion is that no one has traffic issues they have issues of building rapport with their audience and delivering value. If you deliver value to your market then the traffic will follow

It's all good and well to get traffic - free or paid for that matter however you need to understand how you are going to convert that trafficto sales. You can receive 1000's of visits to your site which is not hard to achieve. The peice you need to work on is converting those visits to sales.

If you want a tsunami of targeted traffic then look at advertising with someone who who is in a similar niche, (not the same product) and will allow you to advertise on their site. You will need to negotiate if you want free targeted traffic here is an example of what you can do:

e.g. offer to give them 50 - 60% of your sales revenue in exchange for free advertising for a minimum of 3 months.

Be mindul they will look at what you are selling, your sales page, your sales funnel and whether it is worth their while to provide you free advertising. An EPC of less than a $1 on any affiliate product will not work.

This is an example of a JV. You need to build rapport with your market if you want to be in the IM game for any period of time.

Internet Marketing is NOT a get rich quick process. I know of IMers who have made $100s of $1000s of dollars in a month only to go for 6 - 12mths with no other sales because they either burnt their customers by over promising and under delivering or are not prepared to build a business.

Wow, thank you all of you for such an amazing feedback and valuable suggestions. To be honest, I myself think that the traffic is not the only prerequisite but still you have to have a constant flow of fresh leads. Converting them into sales is another challenge I am having right know. I monetize my Thank you page well but I cannot make any sales from promoting offers of my niche (personal development). I know it's going to take time. In terms of optimizing and tracking what software do you use?

Its tricky when you are buying traffic,especially with adsense ON.
I never have bought paid traffic.
media buying is a different game all together.

Why would you want to buy traffic like that when everyone knows it's difficult to find a decent provider? Such companies have their own methods of generating leads, some of which aren't as natural as they should be.
If I were you I'd rather take the long way with organic reach or, worst case scenario, I'd ran an AdWords campaign - if you find someone who truly knows adwords, you could get very well targeted traffic.
I personally don't trust such websites that sell you traffic.

It depends on how much you are buying Solo Adds. You can choose to either rely on the seller's tracking or you could just track yourself so, you would know you accurate numbers.

So, before sending your link that you want to promote to the seller make sure you have added tracking to it. You can do that by using most of the URL shortener services like bit.ly, goo.gl etc.

I don't really recommend using a free service, because they are pretty unreliable. From my experience the goo.gl URL shortener is the worst, it had removed some of my links with no reasons and if that would happen when doing a solo ad it would be a huge loss in money. So, at least use paid service, highly recommend that.

Another thread about traffic. I know it is stressful when it comes to driving traffic but really it is not a big deal. The important step in the formula are the landing page and funnel. Master that and you will suddenly feel like you have unlimited traffic. Trust me
