How to create pop-ups when visitor visits my site?

Hi there,

May I ask how do I create pop-ups when visitors visit my site, or is there any WP plugins that I can install to do it? Basically I want to offer a free ebook using opt-in method. Please advice. Thanks!=)

        Basically a pop up will pop up and mess with the user experience in one way or another. ie a basic Javascript pop up will force you to interact with it before it goes away. You cannot click the browser back button for example until you interact with the pop up.

        A light box is an on page element where it will have no interference with your browsers functions. You could completely ignore it and click back.

        Many traffic sources, such as Adwords, do not allow landing pages that trigger pop ups that interfere with the browser.

    I use Hybrid Connect plugin. I`ve tested lots of other popup plugins but hybrid works best for me. It also has inbuilt tracking, split testing + other cool features.

    I use hybrid connect as well and it's a nice plugin with a lot of features to use. You can search in google to find the best pop up or light box plugin or just have a look what people recommend.

      I am a member of the Power lead system and this system offers a number of lead capture pages pop up light boxes and more. Easy to use but has a monthly cost. Also has an autoresponder so you have a whole suite of tools. You can contact me if you are interested in finding out more. I also have used others but they did not track like the tool mentioned above

    I just grabbed a free one today from AppSumo and had it set it in about 10 minutes. I think its called SumoMe. I hooked it up to my aweber. Dead easy. I've been meaning to do it for awhile and was so glad I finally did it.
