Paypal Business account requirement Need help

Hi,

I am thinking to have paypal business account. My relative is in USA so I will be using his paypal account to start the business when we establish the business we will register the company in usa and open separate business bank account for it as we haven't made any single sale yet.

What I want to know is, I do have my business website but my business is not register in USA. Can we make business paypal account? because I have seen they require business name etc.

We will be doing business online.

So, can anyone please let me know if it's possible to open business paypal account without company being register in usa?.

Thanks

Paypal business accounts are for businesses. So if you don't have a business yet then they don't want you opening an account yet. Get your business started first and then you can get your business account. But you need a registered business first.

As with any legal question you should always consult with a licensed Attorney in good standing, )

Disclaimer; This is not legal advice.

I would say that you should have a look at the paypal Terms of Service.

If the business is not in the U.S. but your paypal account says it is, then that would be a problem.

    look for a legal method.

Who ever opens the paypal account would need to be the "Business" So you would not be able to open a paypal account if you do not live in the US doing business elsewhere, however there may be a legal method, to create a partnership.

As in the opening statement, (get qualified legal advice)

Seriously, most attorneys will do this from $50.00 to $150.00 some do it free.

It will be the best money you ever spend.

I think you already answered your question because you would definitely need to register your business first before seeking to do "business" in the company's name. That is definitely the legal route to take. Why would you even think of going to PayPal first then the registrar? Always stay above board with your dealings

As you describe it, the only way to get a paypal business account if your company is based in the US is to have it in your friends name. You won't be able to have your own US paypal business account if you're not a US resident.
