How to bulk edit urls?

I'm looking for a tool that lets me bulk edit urls. I have about a list of thousand urls that look like this:
http:// www.arandomwebsite . com/a-page&refurl=http://www.anotherurl.com

What is the easiest way to strip the &refurl=http://www.anotherurl.com from the url? Is there a tool that can do this?

    One of the possible solutions:

    1. Get notepad ++.
    2. Save your list as a standard text file with one URL per line.
    3. Open it in notepad++
    4. Fire up the search and replace feature
    5. switch to "regular expression"
    6. use these parameteres:

    in "find what" place this: &refurl=.+
    leave "replace with" blank

    7. click replace all
