  There's a plugin you can use on your browse that would tell you that it's WordPress. I forgot what it was.

  Those 3 sites are not that complex , they do not required real animation (i.e. like Toy Story, Shrek). I mean the animation are just videos LOL

  I have been using this site, What WordPress Theme Is That? for quite sometime now to check the installed theme and plugins (not all plugins will be shown) of a site.
  
  Sometimes, I just add /wp-admin after the domain name (domainname.com/wp-admin) to see if it's wordpress or not. Although, there are plugins that disable this.
  
  I checked the sites and I think they are just pretty simple to create.

All they appear to be is a standard wordpress blog that is offering WhiteBoard video services.
They charge you say, $200 then outsize to Fiverr for $50 or so.
There was a whiteboard script on the WSO offers forum a while back.

You can do pretty much everything you want in WordPress, provided you have a good designer.
Wordpress offers you a basic platform from where you can start building. If you don't like the themes it provides, you can always come up with your own personalized theme.
However, you will need a good designer with some programming knowledge. And make sure you address him the concern of future platform updates - I once built a wordpress website where I used a custom theme and later I discovered I couldn't update my Wordpress version without ruining the theme. It happened long ago, not sure if it was my fault, the designer's fault - anyhow, you should ask about this too.

As stated they are wordpress. In my opinion there is a huge difference between a website and a blog but I know many in the marketing arena will disagree with me on that. FYI : blogs and websites are ranked differently by Google, Alexa, and many other search engines.

Blogs are also websites. Maybe you are referring to static pages.

A blog (also called a weblog or web log) is a website consisting of entries (also called posts) appearing in reverse chronological order with the most recent entry appearing first (similar in format to a daily journal). Blogs typically include features such as comments and links to increase user interactivity.

That Nevada theme seems very well designed and flexible, making me think of suitable projects to work on and/or revamping my site entirely. I pay about that per year for my current theme and editing software that accompanies.

Yes these websites can be created with WordPress using OptimizePress, Thrive Themes and Landing Pages, Instabuilder...

But for the ones that look more complicated you might need to outsource them or buy a customized premium WP theme.

Sure, you can make basically any type of site a wordpress site if you hire the right designer/programmer. Wordpress is just the core site files that make the site work...the look and feel can be almost anything.
