Desktop RSS Feed pinger aplication?

Hi warriors,

I want to conduct a experiment. For that i need a RSS feed pinger, a desktop one i can customize, insert urls, sites to ping, etc.

I did search the web and didn't find any.

Any tip?

    Thanks NVS, but the scrip its locked, no way for me to test what i need.

    Maybe what i am searching for it's not available for security reasons.

    Using RSSBot, i submit whenever i write a new post? Is this how it works? Or i simply put data in there once (url) and it does the job on its own everyday? I am confused about it.

      Hey there, good to see you

      Yes, you put the url and data in once. From there you can ping it when ever you want, though I personally don't do it that often, as you could get banned if you ping too much. Also, some place will keep tabs on your feed.

      It's not a completely auto program, a good thing, so you do have to ping yourself, it's not on auto or anything, and you have to type in some things when the captcha's come up, but there are not many.

      Course anything can be pinged, so not just for feeds, though feeds that are update are the best when possible.

    Fernando, I own King Ping at kping.com and may be able to help. PM me about what you want to try and I can test it for you.

    Whether you are using RSSBot or my service, it is important to only ping new content or post. Pinging the same content is seen as spamming by the directories and they will block you.

    One thing you should be sure and check on any desktop version is if it has is a way to update the ping list. Directories come and go and even change their submission url so this has to be monitored and updated to keep it effective.
