Graph scraping data from FB is against the FB TOS. If you plan on advertising to the UID and/or email addresses you get from scraping FB using FB as the advertising program you will eventually get your account suspended or banned. In fact FB has been coming down hard on people using scraped data for Custom Audience targetting as of late and are now in the process of sending cease and desist letters to the vendors of the various scraper tools.

You're able to use Custom Audience targeting in Facebook only when you have prior permission to advertise to those people (this can be putting it in the terms of service/privacy/data use policy of your FB group, FB page, optin page, website, etc...). If you do not have permission, you are then violating FB TOS.

There are no shortcuts, learn how to target your audience without these scrapers and your business will explode.

James, thank you for the reply ! I actually do have 2 very high six figure businesses (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Schools) that are brick and mortar businesses and I do have a few fanpages and groups. However, aside from just targeting them or doing promoted posts I do not know how to upload them as custom audiences ?

Also I run into issues when I try to target certain fan pages or interests on FBook they don't always show up ?

What I've noticed is that if I type the exact name of the page I'm targeting it will show up when I hit the enter key.

They don't always show up on the list probably due to their being so many fan pages or groups but when it comes to the exact name it will populate.

I would suggest that you can use Social Lead Freak or other tools like Facebook group snatcher,
    Web Screen Scraping Tool etc.

All of which break FB TOS. Don't use any of them.

Yeah, from what I've been hearing those guys that are abusing it heavily are being shut down and having their accounts locked... Now what are they going to do? LMFAO Looks like they have to resort to the old way in which case they are starting at ground zero.

          Mike & James are correct...

I am very good friends with the creators of SLF and they had to change the way their application communicates with Facebook...

Originally every client was calling to their main SLF application- which brought on a massive amount of attention from Facebook ( not the good kind)...

Now each and every client must create their own facebook application which keeps the scraping off facebook's radar.

Its somewhat 'grey-hat' however it does work... I still use it for my business as we speak...

But make no mistake about it... We will be seeing a huge paradigm shift in how Facebook will share data with all of us...

Get ready to pull out your wallets...

          Best,

          Derek
