Do any warriors make money as a middleman?

I do a lot of door knocking here in the Houston area selling digital marketing for a larger firm as an Business development rep.

I have noticed a lot of Small Business owners are not internet savvy and don't fully understand getting leads and traffic through having a website.

For example, it's a cabinet making business that does a phenomenal job in wood working but doesn't have a clue about having a website and SEM. I'm thinking what if I invest my own money for a website and marketing and be the middleman and leads come through me to him.

My question is should I market a website as a my own separate business ex. Houstoncabinets.com and change some wording around to show people I'm just the middleman or should I create a site for him as his business name and track my leads through a splash page and a call tracking number.

If someone is familiar in this type of marketing I would like to hear what you have to say with pros and cons.

Another example is there is a guy in Houston called Astro Collision that makes $$$ as doing this same type of model for Collision repair in Houston. he ranks number 1 in Ads and if you google the address the place is a dump. But he has found 2 separate unknown Collison businesses give him a cut for every car that gets repairs which is around per $1000 a car.

I'm starting to make my way into the service arbitrage business. As long as you double-check the work of wherever you outsource it, it seems like a more scalable business model than doing most of the work yourself.

Lead gen... it's still a very a viable business.

The 2 options you mentioned will work. Have the front end processes set up so that everything can be tracked back to you, and you have access to the analytics as well so you can see how many calls/leads came in.

Thanks I will definitely look to doing this strategy. It seems easier with so many tools to track .

Would any you guys suggest I be the person to answer the phone calls as they come in so I can get the clients info and send it to the business owner. Or should I just set up a call tracking number that's forwarded to that business main line? Thanks

Perhaps you mean - middle person. Like we are so incredibly politically correct now that we don't know what we can say. Lead gen is poor. I have trouble with people paying me. They claim that my leads are no good and want more for free which makes no sense. If they are no good, then why would they want more.
