Go Articles Vs. Ezines

Hi Warriors,

Hope you are well. So I just finished some articles to promote my new website and I was thinking of submitting them to one article directory. However, as this is the first time that I will actually submit articles online I started to wonder: should I put my articles on Go Articles or on Ezines?

I want to rank high with these articles on Google to drive traffic to my website and so I will build backlinks to it. The question is: Which one google likes the most?

The website is mine so it won't be an affiliate link in my resource box, so I can submit to both directories, no questions there. But let's say that the same article would be easier to rank higher with ezines or go articles?

I used to think it was ezines but I read some posts on the forum, specifically on angela's free WSO and it got me thinking.

I would like to hear your opinion. Thanks for helping me :p

All the Best,
James

No question about it: if you're only choosing one article directory, make it ezine articles. Google likes ezine best, and 2nd best isn't even close.

      Hi,

I am also thinking of ditching EZA and submitting to GoArticles for the following reasons:
      1) I can put affiliate links in my GoArticles submissions but not in articles bound for EZA. This rule by EZA of disallowing links to the affiliate sales page would greatly reduce the conversion rate.
      2) There are now too many Adsense ads in EZA. Recently they added Adsense ads between the Article Title and Body. This would greatly reduce the click-thru rate
      3) Angela said that GoArticles responds much better to a backlinking campaign than EZA articles.

      What do other Warriors think?

You need to put your articles on as many sites as possible. You should put your best articles on Ezinearticles, but don't neglect the other sites. Goarticles is great too. I would also setup a hubpages account and submit your articles there. With Hubpages, you can make a little extra money with Google Adsense money from your articles.

This is like the Google vs. Other Search Engines debate. Google is by far the biggest and the best, but the other ones like Yahoo and MSN (Bing) still own a sizeable chunk of market share.

EzineArticles is the biggest and perhaps the best, but why would you ignore GoArticles which is still a giant despite being #2? You'd be losing out on a lot of potential traffic.

Your advice is great! I have set up most of my articles in EZA and I will definitely add it up to Go and Hubs.

    Curtis,

You're right on the money. This is the analogy I had in mind.

I created 5 articles and posted them on Ezine, then spun them a bit and put them on Go Articles. My total views from Ezine in 8 days was 413 and Go Articles was 64. I am also getting about 20% of my Ezine viewers to click on my link and go to my page. I have had no traffic from Go Articles yet.

I actually like Hubpages more than Ezinearticles now. I'm a big Hubpages fan!

I'm wondering about hubpages. I thought content on there had to be unique? Do you rewrite your articles for hubpages so they are unique? If so, what percent does it need to be unique?
