Jvzoo, Clickbank... or both?

Hello Warriors, I have a bit of an issue. I've created a one-page sales page for a product that I've created and I'm currently using jvzoo to run the buying process (with their 'buy now' button). I can't seem to find affiliates to promote my product to get a name for myself (by getting a conversion rate, refund rate, etc).

My question is, can I use BOTH Clickbank and Jvzoo to get affiliates to promote my product. The thing that I think would be an issue would be the fact that I'm using the Jvzoo 'buy now' buttons and they run the buying process.

Please help. Any and all feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

You may, in the sense that each will allow you to (they're only retailers: it's none of their business where else you choose to sell). But that doesn't make it a sensible or advisable thing to do.

Whether any serious, professional affiliates at ClickBank (i.e. the exact ones you want) will be willing to promote a product which also has another sales-page and payment set-up at JVZoo is another matter altogether. My guess is that they won't. (When one of the options is ClickBank, "both" can never be the right answer, in my opinion - that's just a way of saying "goodbye" to the affiliates most likely to be successful with the product).

This subject's discussed in more detail in many other threads: here's just a small selection ...

    Where To List My Product

The bottom line, on this issue, is that if your product has another sales page elsewhere, you might lose the potential to be promoted by 5-10% of the ClickBank affiliates, but those will probably be the exact, same 5-10% of affiliates there who collectively make something like 95%-98% of the affiliate-referred sales, so it's pretty important to avoid this.

The "moral of the story" - if, indeed, you were looking for one, at all - is that having "as many affiliates as possible" and making "as many sales as possible" are two very different things ... and there are reasons for that. The mistake to avoid is the assumption that "having it for sale in more places" is correlated with "making more sales". Sometimes the opposite's true.

Glad someone asked this particular question because selling my product on CB and JVZoo was also my intention

I believe you can. They don't own the product, but only get affiliate to product creators.. so Oi'm guessing you can!

Why are you guessing, at all (especially when the question's already been factually answered)? Who's that supposed to help?

If you create 2 sales pages for your products then you can definately use 2 platform to sell your product on. It's a common practice and will allow you to benefit from the affiliate base on all platform.

But you should promote your affiliate program a little too, you can't expect to just list your product and loads of affiliates will jump on board. Some sites you can list your products are:
    - Jvnotifypro.com
    - Warriorjv.com
    - Muncheye.com
    - Warriorforum affiliate database
    - Facebook groups

In my opinion , Affiliate platform is not that a big deal to affiliates. There are a lot of affiliates that I know that will promote the product regardless of the platform.

There are many reasons why affiliates will promote for you:

1.) You got a very good converting Sales Copy. Regardless of how good your product is if the sales copy/page is not converting, they will not promote that product.

A good sales copy will give you a high EPC which is what Affiliates are looking for. If your EPC is below $1.5 per click then chances are they won't be sending traffic since they rather send a traffic to another offer that is sure to convert. (take note there are a lot of people who is launching a product everyday, that give the affiliate a lot of options on which product they want to promote)

2.) Your Reputation, If you are just new and affiliates never heard of your name. Chances are they will not risk/will not promote for you. Affiliates earns hundreds to thousands if they email on an offer that is proven to convert

3.) The amount of commission you are giving. I've seen a lot of people who are giving 25% - 50% commission to a $10 product. then they will ask why there are no affiliate promoting for them. As I've said there are a lot of people who are launching a product every hour or day and most of them will be giving 100% commission all throughout the funnel and they will even give prizes to top affiliates. Remember it's all about the money they will earn.

4.) If you can't give them high commission, you should be building relationship with them and ask them politely to promote for you. Another thing to take note if you will do that is, there are hundreds of people doing that,so you might want to stand out and be different from them.

Always keep in mind "What is it for them? Why would you promote your product?"

You don't need to get a lot of affiliates, you just need to get 1 - 2 affiliate with a big list to promote for you. So don't stress yourself to much on that matter.

I have seen several products being sold on multiple affiloate programs, but I do suggest you stick to just one. For example, sticking to just Clickbank would be better since there are more potential affiliates on cb. But of course, you gotta see what's going to be best for your product.

Both of them are great. If you product is in IM/MMO niche then use JVzoo.
You will gain better affiliate to promote your product.
