Parasite seo can be pretty cheap. Maybe want to look at throwing up a parasite and trying to make a few affiliate sales.

Here's what I did when I lost my income from SEO and had to start from scratch again.

1. Build a small list of 1000 people.

How?

Get free traffic
a) Forum marketing
b) Guest blogging
c) Video marketing (I had a lot of success reviewing upcoming products)

Buy traffic – in the beginning, stick just to SOLO ADS.

When buying solo ads:

a) ALWAYS NEGOTIATE

b) If you are on a budget, buy no more than 100 clicks at a time (they are more likely to over deliver if you buy 100 clicks compared to 1000 clicks)

c) If you are going to buy a lot of traffic from one vendor, test their traffic first, don't buy like 1000 clicks without testing their traffic

2. Start doing A LOT OF ad swaps

What is an ad swap?

Let's say I have a list and you have a list.

I send 100 clicks from my list to your landing page and you send 100 clicks to my landing page. That's it. It's exchanging traffic.

I use safe-swaps.com to schedule ad swaps.

3. You email your list EVERY DAY.

You never skip a day. NEVER EVER.

What do you mail?

First, here's what you NEVER DO.

NEVER PROMOTE AFFILIATE OFFERS STRAIGHT TO YOUR LIST. NEVER SELL SOLO ADS.

That just burns your list. All you want to do is doing as many ad swaps as possible. You schedule ad swaps and you only mail what your partners give to you.

You exchange ALL of your traffic.

How do you then make money?

You have your landing page. You have your thank you page that everyone sees after they opt in. On the thank you page, you promote affiliate offers. That's where you will make all of your money from.

4. Outsource

Create systems, processes and manuals for everything in the business and then hire people who will do all of the work for you.

In the beginning you want to have a call with your employees every day, then, you want to train one of them to become a manager and then you have like a 30 minute weekly call with your manager.

To summarize:
1. Build a list of 1000 people
2. Start doing ad swaps
3. Mail your list every day
4. Outsource

It's always bad to have a limited time frame to make something like Internet Marketing successful. Because if you rush in this business with just the intention in mind to make money fast then you'll have a hard time.

If you wanna make money quick you should offer a service for example here on the warrior for hire section. I don't know what kind of skills you have but you could offer a native speaker writing service or something else you are good in. As soon as you make some money I would do this:

1.- Get email autoresponder
2. - build a custom squeeze page to capture peoples emails.
3.- Pick a hot converting offer. Preferably anything with high ticket and recurring income.
4. - Market daily and build your list

Humbling response from all!

Hi,

You don't need a HUGE amount to start off with online in most cases anyway.

You could try this:

1. Invest in a email A.R. account - "Free Trial" 30 days then $10 - $20 per month
there after or so.

2. Pick out an affiliate offer that is still converting at a decent rate long after it's
original launch - 3 months still converting at 8% - 10% for example.

3. Try and get a review copy off the vendor or just buy it - $7, $10, $17, $27, etc etc.

4. Now go and eat that product up.

5. Get as much information as you can from that system, method etc.

6. Create an outline of that product or system etc by creating a short TOP 10
tips report, videos, MP3's whatever that you can give away.

7. Offer that to people in exchange for an email address.

8. Create your "headline" and add it to your email A.R. "Web Form" so that
people can enter their name in exchange for that report etc.

9. NOTE: no need for hosting here - Save some money.

10. WHY? - Well you can allow your email A.R. service to host the web form
for you by checking a little box or button.

11. You can also set your web form to send people directly to that affiliate offer
as soon as they opt in to receive that RELATED report you created about the
affiliate offer you got a review copy of or bought yourself.

12. So the key here is to make sure that your headline on your web form is as closely
related to your affiliate offer as possible.

13. That way you'll know that those who opt in are actually interested in your paid
affiliate offer as soon as they opt into your list.

So to recap you've only pay for your email A.R. and that is a free trial too if you
go for Getresponse or Aweber for example.

You can now start driving traffic to your offer and build your lists at the same time.

You can also create as many different headlines (at no extra cost) using only the
self hosted email A.R. web forms to see which headline performs the best.

You can include the same affiliate offer within the free report and the first email
you send to your new subscribers too to ensure maximum results.

And of course you now have them on your list too so you can keep on emailing
them and building up those all important relationships.

Of course you can add tracking and roll out as many TESTS as you wish too
but at least this gives you something to get your teeth into.

I think it was said the best when I read to many people try to "BUILD A INTERNET BUSINESS UNDER PRESSURE"

Take your time learn the business it pays well.

If you want fast money sell things from your home like old movies on ebay, amazon Etc.

you can make fast big money selling things you don't use anymore.

I'm going to go against the grain and strongly suggest you find a job in the real world. It's not easy for someone new to online marketing to get their income to the point where they're self sufficient. A few manage it but most don't.

Better you get some income coming in and work at online marketing in your off hours.

Clarity is a HUGE part of IM success. I hope this post brings some clarity. It's so simple when you know it -- and darn difficult when you don't! I owe my mentors a world of thanks for bringing this clarity.

IM is actually pretty simple: you can sell only one of two things:

1. Products
2. Services

That's it!

And selling products or services online happens in the same basic way for everyone, no matter what they're selling:

Traffic > Opt-in page > Autoresponder series (or e-zine) > Sales page

That's it! It's just that simple. (We IMers tend to overcomplicate things.)

But no matter what your niche is, or whether you're selling a product or a service, do you know what your business model is?

A business model is the framework or skeleton of your business. Essentially there are three types of online business models:

1. Membership-based model

A membership-based business model allows you to build a community of people (your members) who are as passionate about your subject as you are. Your membership fees can be monthly or annual, but either way, you're building recurring, passive income.

There are a lot of resources and information out there to help you build a membership-based business if you're interested in doing this.

2. Product-based model

Selling products allows you to maximize your time and effort by selling items over and over again. This can be hard goods or it can be information products. Information marketing is it's own business model under the product-based model. Information marketing allows you to take your brain to the bank by creating a product ONCE based on what you know and selling it over and over again.

Affiliate marketing falls under both models. You can choose to market either products or services as an affiliate.

3. Service-based model

Selling services can be great for 1) generating quick cash (as in the case of article writing or video producing) and 2) establishing your expertise and getting testimonials.

However, in the long run, your goal should be to offer services at a PREMIUM. The biggest advantage of IM is LEVERAGE. You're able to leverage your time, money and expertise exponentially online. We all have just 24 hours each day. Time to get ruthless about what you expect for those hours you spend in IM each day. Expect more of yourself and more from your business friends, clients, partners, etc.

What results are you getting for those hours you spend online each day? Ultimately, your services should be at the bottom of your funnel and cost the most since they involve your time and personal attention. (We all have a limited amount of time each day.)

The fun (and confusion) comes in with all of the endless mix-and-match possibilities of the above models. If you're just starting or still struggling to make money, keep it simple:

Pick just ONE!

1. Pick ONE niche. (Something you're interested in and know something about.)

2. Pick ONE target market for your product or service. (Who will buy what you're offering? The more specific you are, the more you narrow it down, the more successful you'll be.)

3. Pick ONE business model.

Now that you're clear about what business you're in, FOCUS! (And stop buying any info not related to your niche and target market, period!)

F -- Follow
O -- One
C -- Course
U -- Until
S -- Successful

And remember: build a list, Build a List, BUILD A LIST!

In IM, it's easy to put the cart before the horse. Take a deep breath, step back and consider what type of business you REALLY want. Don't worry about getting traffic or buying that expensive traffic product until you know 1) what your business model is, 2) what niche you're in and 3) WHO your target market is!

Successful business people will tell you that MARKETING is more than half the effort that's needed for success anyway. So pick a niche, target market and business model. Then spend most of your time and effort marketing it.

If you DON'T have a solid plan or system, THAT'S when it's hard. A good system will shave YEARS (and save you big $$$) off of your learning curve

That's why I recommend investing in at least one good, comprehensive IM course (or mentor who will give you such a system) instead of jumping from one $37 e-book to the next. A lot of people here complain about not being able to make any money. But neither are they willing to invest in their business. (Buying a random bunch of $37 e-books doesn't count.)

The best thing I ever did was invest in a comprehensive IM course aimed at REAL business owners, not just other IM wannabes. Yes it was $1500. (It's no longer available.) But it was truly some of the best A-Z IM info I ever bought. Everything else I've learned (from the $37 e-books) since has simply been plugged into this system.

My two best recommendations for phenomenal IM training programs are Ali Brown's Elevate program (ElevateBizTraining.com) and Jeff Walker's Product Launch Formula (ProductLaunchFormula.com)

Get a solid plan or system and then work the plan!

I started reskinning apps and never looked back. Pretty cheap and low risk, creates a steady income.

The only issue is it takes some time before you actually get your first payment. You have to put out some in the beginning as well. May not be right for you on your current position.

I think we all have been there my friend. Sometimes it takes a good kick in the nads to get you fired up and motivated! I wish you all the best!

Word of advise? Join the War Room, I am going to do so today as well..It will be a great boost for you!

Start off with: domain name, hosting, autoresponder, and squeeze with an offer.

Sign up for a CPA netowork and a few PPL's to monetize the front end
because people are more willing to part with information than their money.

Create a 21-day email series with helpful info relating to the niche.

Put some affiliate links in the emails but wait until after the 7th email to
do so. (I wait until the 15th email, but that's just me)

Leverage more by adswaps and clickbanking and you'll do fine.

Oh and get a click tracker/rotator system to make life easier.

Sadly, the only way you can generate a real substantial income online is to invest money. You have to have at least $100's of dollars you can burn like its nothing and not hurt yourself financially. Internet marketing is a game for the big boy and gals. We all have one thing in common when we started off as internet marketers.... CAPITAL.

Honestly, after you have just lost your job and have very little capital to your name, I think now would be the worst time for you to try and earn an income online.

Put all of your focus into finding a job; a real job. Once you have that taken care of you could then work on building up some additional income online.

You might eventually be able go full time online, but now seems like the worst time to be thinking about that, given your circumstances.

i hope this posts helps you.

this was actually a blueprint given to me by my mentor, and i am now going to share it with you because it really helped me.

... i noticed there are a lot of you guys asking about how you can build a fast list, so i decided to share with you how i was able to build a list of 1,284 people in just 11 days...& make $522 in the process...

First off, anyone can do this so don't worry if you have no experience

ok so here are the steps that i took to get a list of 1,284 people in 11 days

Step 1:

high converting squeeze page & lead magnet

first of all you will need a lead magnet, which is something that you can give away of great value, in order for people to want to give you their name and email address for.

At that point i did not have anything to give away, so i contacted my mentor a guy called Gavin, and asked him if he could give me some ideas.

He allowed me to give away a video that he shot.

So i now had my lead magnet.

Next step was to create a squeeze page to get people to opt in at.

this was a simple page which had a headline, a few bullets, and and opt in form.

This opt in form gave me a 42% opt in rate

Meaning around 4 out of 10 people who came to my page, entered their name and email.


Step 2:

Get targeted Traffic to my squeeze page!

this is the part that is hard for most people because they just don't know how to drive traffic...

here are the ways i drove traffic to my squeeze page:

1 - Forum Posts

i made 5 posts in 10 different internet marketing forums a day, and got traffic from my signature file

yes you can get a lot of traffic to your opt in page if you give good value and take part in discussions in forums, just like this one.

When you give value in forums, people will respect you, then will click on the signature file below , and go to the squeeze page which will give you more free stuff!

2 - Some thank you page ads

i contacted some marketers, (some of them from the warrior forum) and asked them if i could offer my free course for their customers on their thank you page.

this means that people who go to their thank you page after buying their product, will have the opportunity to go to your squeeze page and opt into your list.

Take some time to contact as many people as you can to ask them if you can put your ad on their thank you page.

Not everyone will 'Say Yes' ,... but... some will and those are the ones that count.

the best way is to start off in this forum the Warrior forum!, then other Internet Marketing forums... and then go find some other products that are in your niche, contact the websites owners, and ask them if you can put your ad on their thank you page...

3 - 2 paid solo ads

i found a really cool site where i was able to purchase 2 solo ads for around $15 and $34.

a Solo ad is an email that goes out to someone elses entire list.

You pay and they send it on a given date, its as simple as that.

the first list my email got sent out to was around 10,000 people.

the second list was around 23,000 people.

& i was amazed at the number of opt ins i got from this

that's literally all the traffic strategies i used...



Step 3:

Go VIRAL!

this will add lots of people to your list for FREE FOREVER!

after your prospects opt in, give them the opportunity to recommend your site to a friend.

i used a cool script which i found which allowed people to enter a certain amount of email addresses.

i told them that if they entered 7 email addresses of their friends who would find this info usefull, then they would get an extra bonus.

so for every one person that opted in, i get 7 more people come to my site for FREE.


Step 4: - make easy money up front

Monetize my Thank you page!

On the page which had the video which they opted in for, after they had the opportunity to watch the video, i had a link under the video which referred them to an affiliate product.

most people would click that link after watching the video because of the great content in the video... and some of them bought the product being sold!

within 11 days i managed to build a list of 1,284 targeted subscribers.

Which brought me $522 in affiliate sales.

I am amazed and humbled by the response on this thread. I thank each and everyone of you who has taken the time to respond. I think Travlinguy summed it up best as to what my immediate course of action should be. Having said that, I have some fantastic stuff to sink my teeth into, and direction as to where my online business model should go!

You mentioned you don't have a lot of funds now. IMO, it'd be wise to first generate some funds by selling services (anything that you know you can do) on this forum, freelance websites and fiverr. Once you have some money you can get into list building and all those "big" things.

I'm not discouraging you from doing big things - it's just that such things require a lot of testing before you hit respectable numbers. If you are on a tight budget, its not advisable to spend everything you have on list building and seo and stuff like that and expect returns right away.
