I want to learn internet marketing. Where do I start?

More than anything, I would like to create a successful blog or website. But I know absolutely nothing about internet marketing. I have read many posts on the Warrior forum and visited online marketing blogs, but I am so confused by the enormous amount of information out there. I can't follow the discussions because there are so many acronyms, terms, and concepts that I'm unfamiliar with. To make things even more difficult, there are so many different ways to go about online marketing, from using adwords to social media. How does someone like me, an absolute beginner, learn internet marketing? I'm more than willing to study, but I don't know where to start. I know that a mentor is too much to ask for, but if you are successful with online marketing, could you please recommend a book, online study program, or something that will take me from a clueless beginner to proficient? I'll be super grateful for any good advice.

    Start off from a blog about something you have interest in.
    Learn what people are struggling with in the niche and try to help them. You do not need to have your own products in the beginning, promote someone else´s products through clickbank.com or any other affiliate site. Once you get to the expert level in the niche, you will be ready to launch your own product.
