Nothing beats Dropbox. I access my files from anywhere with my smartphone or notebook with great ease and convenience.

Wow, thanks everyone for the suggestions, no wonder Dropbox is a must. However I should have been more precise.

The fact is that I want those files to be available for download to my customers, and as you probably know, Dropbox will block access to the files if they are receiving too much traffic.

I'm using MediaFire which has a very simple interface similar to Dropbox, however not only ads and pop-ups appear on the download (which could be ignored), but sometimes a captcha box is displayed as well, which use to make my customers unhappy.

Mega.co.nz looks like a nice altrernative, however several times I tried downloading files from it with no success.

Thanks for the recommendation.
I have just registered it and so far everything looks good.
The uploading process is faster and smoother than Mediafire, however downloading files is far slower but no ads and captcha.

I know you've asked for a *free* option and the service I'll suggest is at least $10/month (but comes with a 30 day free trial). It's called DPD (Digital Product Delivery). You can google them. Their service is specifically customized for your need (product delivery to your customers). I'd say it's something worth investing down the road.

I use Dropbox for a long time and I'm super happy with it!
I know some people also use Amazon but I'm not sure about their limits...

I've used Ge.tt for business purposes before. They have a really nice file organization feature where you can place them into groups and users can download the entire group if they like. No limits on download traffic (I've had some get 60,000 downloads in 24 horus, no problems reported from my users). No file size limit (but you only get 2GB free storage per account).

And probably most important, no ads!

Oh. Another cool feature is users with the link can download the file even while it is still being uploaded. So you don't have to wait a long time to share the download link. You can share it instantly. If you have any questions about Ge.tt I'll be happy to help.

Good news, this sounds exactly like what I was looking for.
2GB is not much compared to the competitors (10GB for Mediafire, 50GB for Mega), but will be more than enough for my current projects.

[UPDATE] Unfortunately, users need premium account in order to upload files larger than 50MB.

I like Dropbox. The only drawback is limited storage at only 2.5GB at the start. You can increase your free storage, though, but you have to refer friends to join and install dropbox.

After trying out a few of your recommendations, I got to choose 2 of them:

#1 Copy.com - 15GB free storage
Slow upload, but blazing fast download
No ads on download page

#2 BitCasa.com - 5GB~20GB free storage
Very fast upload, but slow download
No ads on download page

I still have to find out if anything will happen when the download links are receiving traffics from various places, but so far they seem like the right choice.
