How To Create One Top Selling Product Per Week Using Cheap PLR

How I use PLR

RE--WRITE THE SALES PAGE (if included)

If the PLR ebook I bought has a sales page, I do not use it as is. I rewrite it, making it my own. This helps me appear unique which is important. Everyone else is using the sales page and that devalues the offer. Avoid that problem by rewriting/designing the sales pages.

REPURPISE THE EBOOK AS A VIDEO PRODUCT

Not as hard as it sounds.

Easy-peasy.

For the TITLE of each chapter, create a TITLE power point slide. Then, find the MAIN POINTS of each chapter and write these down.

Next... create a SLIDE for each main point. In the end, you'll have slides that look like.....

CHAPTER ONE
..... main point 1
...... main point 2
..... main point 3

CHAPTER TWO
..... main point 1
..... main point 2

.......... and so on.

Once you're finished, you'll have a power point presentation with all the slides.

Next, use a program like Camtasia to RECORD ONE VIDEO PER CHAPTER where you go through the slides, explaining each chapter and it's main points IN DETAIL.

In the end, you'll have a video course.

RE-NAME AND REBRAND YOUR COURSE

Use an eCover program to create ecovers and graphics for your course. I use Cover Action Extreme which is a set of Photoshop action scripts. I highly recommend it. However, if you're not well versed in Photo Shop or on a buget, there are cheap or free online ecover generators.

UPLOAD AND PROMOTE

Now you have a video product, sales pages for it and ecovers.

Now, register a domain and upload it.

Create a membership area for the videos and upload those.

Lastly..... embed payment buttons, promote and MAKE SALES!

That was actually useful, thanks for your generous information - i have always told my students to re-purpose PLR and don't follow the sheep who just slap their names on PLR products and cut each others throats to sell it for $2 -that is just idiocy. I also use PLR as an ideas laboratory, whenever you are stuck for an idea just go through your PLR collection and allow ideas to well up, grab an ebook and totally re-write it, it is easier to re-write than to create from a blank page! Great stuff, you have given me an idea

A couple good posts. Unfortunately, too many go the two dollar route, or post it for free hoping to make a couple nickels from adsense. Getting past the mindset of actually doing work to make money can be a challenge.

      Great post..

What you can also do with PLR products is broken them down and use it as your autoresponders follow-up series.. You don't need to do any hard work with this.. Just a simple rewrite will make it unique..

This is what I do the most with them..

If it is a video course, you can simply make a transcript (some PLR video already provides you this) and hire some ghostwriters to have them rewritten and make your own eBook as a giveaway gifts..

I have seen many valuable high quality PLR products has been devalued by some other lazy marketers who just resell it without any changes to them..

        It's a very good advice.

The secret to making money with PLR is to make it unique and add the value then sell.

Re-writing a PLR and re-branding it is the best way to success. This will make it unique to the owner and different from the rest.

I'd add one more point to it:
    - add some valuable, high quality information inside the course, that is not easy to get or unique to you - treat it as your own product - too many of these PLR courses are floating around the internet!

Of course the best way would be to actually create a 100% original course and maybe use PLR like a map, not to get stuck in the beginning with a blank Word page and at least have the chapter titles...

    Good luck everyone

Always a good idea to re write PLR :-)

If you can add your own style of writing to the articles/content then you will be on to a winner :-)

It's funny but if one follows my process above.... most of the time the product will kind of "take on a life of its own" and morph into a HUGE AND VALUABLE course.

There've been times when I've done this with one PLR book and have wound up with 20+ video courses with the PPT slide videos I describe as well as "look over my shoulder" type videos to accompany them.

You see.... what ends up happening when my process is used is that the PLR being used sort of acts as a "spring board" to YOUR very own product.

You know you've done a good job when what you wind up with bears no resemblance to the PLR product with which you began.

Thanks for the post. This seems like it would be an excellent post for newbies that wanted to get started but "didn't feel they had anywhere to start with making their own product".

Hey buddy, been a while. Hope you're well. What you say above is correct.

I may open a can of worms with what I'm abou to say but hey.... I always say it the way I see it.

There's a line in the sand that you should strive to cross when re-doing PLR. I believe that once you meet that line and cross it.... the end result is NOT PLR but rather your own product.

      Having said that....

It's a steep goal. Yoy need to.....

      Re-brand if
Re-write it - even better..... turn it into different formats
Add to it (creating your original content to go with it)
      Re-do ALL sales materials

Essentially what we are doing here is using the PLR as an outline with which to create our OWN products.

Do I do my own products this way?

In the "IM space"..... no but that's ONLY because I've been at this for 15 years and know enough that it's quicker to "brain dump" and do it that way.

But, you bet your ass I did this earlier in my career and still do it in other markets in which I have "info-businesses" (about 12).

Not only that, but people always Google to see if they can find the product cheaper, and 9 times out of 10, they will find it somewhere else for 99 cents

CHANGE THE PRODUCT NAME AND SALES PAGE NO MATTER WHAT!!!
