What is the best hosting to host sites that use OP 2.0? Im using shared hosting with Webhosting hub, but I notice when I create landing pages with Optimize Press using the Drag and Drop/Live Editor, the site is laggy and slow. I assume its due to my hosting.

Thats the problem with shared hosting.

I would suggest going for a more reliable host like Bluehost, GoDaddy or Arvixe.

Then when you get more traffic I suggest you to upgrade to a VPS

Personally, I host my sites on WP Engine.

I've gotten really good service from them and my sites load very fast.

      But that's just me.

        Arvixe, maybe.

GoDaddy is horrible for WordPress hosting, and Bluehost is now owned by the dreaded Endurance International Group, so that's one to avoid, for sure. (And so is Hostgator.)

That would be the first place I'd look, myself, for WordPress hosting. But it is pretty expensive, by comparison with most. On the other hand, I suspect you get what you pay for, there?

    Personally I would suggest hostgator.

I have gone through Bluehost and Hostnine in the past and they no longer cut it for me. Customer service is lacking. They were good at one time though.

But if you can you always want your WP to be installed on your own hosting/domain. It gives you the freedom and flexibility you want.

    Don't use
    - Godaddy
    - Yahoo
    - 1&1
    - Dreamhost
    - the 50+ EIG brands, including Hostgator, Bluehost, Justhost, iPage, Fatcow, and a crapload others

There are plenty of good hosts to use out there, without needing to use infamous junk.
Perhaps try Namecheap or Veerotech instead.

I would use a local, godaddy is ok but.

There are catches with godaddy but. But optimizepress is killer, you can literally have a website, squeeze page or something else similiar up in minutes literally.

  • Bluehost and hostmonster are the same company from what I know, I use them the VPS service and it's super good plus I can call them 24/7 for help. I have had 150 sites with them on and off, I think 50 or so are active right now. But the VPS not the cheap one.
