What you think about this...

Hello, i have a little question about something i want to start.

I want to start a blog and "share the revenue" with authors that post on blog. But i want to pay them for each visit their articles gets.
Is this a good idea?
I have think to pay them 0.01$ per visit, and 100 views mean 1$.
and for 10.000 views i will pay 100 $
my main question is i will get this money from Adsense? or i'm far from it?
Is any way to make sure they don't use boots to make the visits?

I still try to find the best way to make this happen. Any ideas?

hope for some answers, and thanks for your time.

Maybe a better strategy is to start the blog, and then run it successfully for x months. Then you will know what your revenue per visitor is and you can make a decision.

Paying for guest posts can be done and is being done so that's not the question. The real question, in my mind, is can you start a successful blog that enough people will come to visit and make enough revenue from those visitors to make it worthwhile for someone to write for you.

At this point you aren't even sure what your revenue sources will be. Way too early to be making plans without some hard evidence and numbers in front of you in my opinion.

Thanks for your advices. I know i can make it, but i want to move the things a little faster (i know is a stupid thing..but i can't help it).
Yes, im not sure about what revenue i can get and that is the reason i have think to ask here for opinions.
My main plan to monetize is this:
      1. Adsense
      2. Affiliate products
      3. My own products
      4. Membership forum

I don;t make the blog for English language, so the adsense money is lower. And from my last experiences i know i;m not so lucky and combined with stupidity to make mistakes is not so well.

Still try to find a way, on hot to make a long time business in this area. Don't know what is the best way to make this work, because i want to be well for me and for the people that will write.
Again, thanks, your a replay was real help for me and put me to think more about this.

Mark's advice to get the site up and running first is sound. You'll find it easier to attract authors if you can provide healthy visitor stats.

Rather than paying contributors for each visit, it might be simpler to share your site's Adsense revenue. You can install a WordPress plug-in to enable you to do that:

        https://wordpress.org/plugins/adsense-revenue-share/

        ..
        Signature

Thanks, i was read about that plugin but will be difficult to use it..most of my writers will not have an adsense account for sure. and that will be a little hard to get, because they don;t have websites. Or i'm missing something?

          thanks again.

Yes, they'll need an Adsense account, but many professional writers will already have their own websites. And contributors may well feel more secure about receiving payment if it's administered by a third party such as Google - especially if you're a new site and they don't know you yet.

It's another reason to establish the site before committing yourself to a payment system.

Just be sure that you have it clearly stated in your TOS how they cannot artificially inflate traffic to increase their own profits. This could get your Adsense account suspended, especially if someone on your writing staff who is earning per page view puts their own pages on an auto surf to increase views.

no one will post something for 0.01 cent.

Thanks for all the advices, they are very good and help me a lot. But i still want to find a way to make this work in a way or another.
Maybe i will setup the blog and keep it few months to see how it works. But i still think if more people will write for it will grow faster.

It is a good idea, and you might be able to build a successful blog by going for this root.

What you can do is allow each author to hook up their AdSense account, so all of the revenue from the traffic and clicks to their posts goes directly to them, and you don't need to worry about doing any form of revenue "sharing". I've seen this done on other sites.

Basically you are just selling blog guest posting.

Why don't you just pay someone a fixed amount for a post?
If you keep paying them forever, as long as the article is getting views you will be paying out.

Its a great long term business for writers but not for you.

What if the article goes viral and you have to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars?
Not mentioning you have to pay for EACH article.

I can see the WSO now - foolproof way to make thousands without a website, with affiliate links to an autosubmitter, autosurf program, and botnet.

Even if you can keep it honest, you'll need digital hip boots to wade through the crap flood of submissions such a site will attract at only a penny a view.

To quote the Sundance Kid, "Keep thinking, Butch. It's what you're good at..."

    thanks for all your advices.
I have one more question for current adsense users.

I can get revenue reports by URL?

i mean..author "Jhon" have post 10 articles on my blog. i can take a report from adsense only from that 10 url to see how much money they have made?

i think will be something easy to make a report at the end of the month with the url list and how much they have made and show them to split the revenue.

but i need to know if Google let me make this kind of reports, only by url.

If you pay anyone for viewing the blog, he may make the view in bots way. What is your main plan? do you want to earn from google adsense? or another plan do you have? You can do some SEO , to increase your blog site. in your site in the first page of the google, your traffic will increase automatically.
