Hi all, how can you tell how much space you

need for your website?

I will have 5 pages only.
One page showing Affiliate Marketing product with photos. I will not have much text to begin with. I am looking at a site with 200 MB and I figure I can go for it and upgrade as my biz grows, right?

thank you in advance to anyone that might be able to answer, denise

If your talking about hosting space you can be sure that if you are starting out you will be fine with the smallest package they have available. See if you can have multiple domains hosted on the account.

I had a small hosting account for about 1 year before I upgraded. Most companies make it easy to upgrade your hosting account.

Most standard hosting packages have way more storage room (a.k.a. disk space) than the average users ever need, you shouldn't worry about that part.
More important is the bandwidth that comes with the package and the CPU usage limits, if it is on a shared hosting.

    Hey Denise,

Hostgator gives you unlimited disk space and bandwidth for $8/month (baby plan). Plus, using a coupon code (google it) will get you your first month for a penny. Also, you will be able to host unlimited domains.
