I wanted to share with you guys a simple strategy that I have been using for the past few days which has already landed me a few decent clients. I messaged 10 different websites owners more than half of them replied and hired me to write articles. It's a really simple strategy and there's room for improvement.
Here's what I did...
I asked if I could use one of the LIVE articles that I wrote for a client as a sample for my writing service. He said I could. The key is to have a LIVE article with a LIVE link that you can show people as an example. You can also do this by offering to write a guest post on an authority website.
Once the article has been published, search for other websites that have articles that are related to the topic of the article that you wrote. Chances are there will be a good amount. Head over to the contact page and write the admin a message. I wrote an extremely simple pitch...

Hello (name)
I found your website and I think you did a really good job with the layout and content. I noticed that you like to publish articles that are related to (the topic of the article you wrote). That's awesome!
I wrote an article about the same topic as well, here's the link (share link). I was wondering if you need me to write some content for your website as well.
I charge (your rates)

Send the message to all the websites that have articles about the topic that you wrote about. I sent out around 10 requests.
Remember, it's important to include a compliment and address the admin by his or her name. It's really not difficult to find the name of the owner of a website. Make the message personal.
I tested out this strategy two days ago and I already got 4 new clients who can afford to pay much more than what I charge here on Warrior Forum. They're regular clients as well.
So give it a shot. Show the live links. Create a personalized to-the-point pitch. Customize the message and send it out. See who bites.
