Looking for writers but getting flagged by CL!

I put up a post on Craigslist looking for writers in the Philippines. This is the first time I"m posting on CL and my post was flagged in 2 mins after submission. I'm not sure what I"ve violated but if anyone of you have experience with finding writers in the Philippines (craigslist or others), can you please refer me to it?

THanks
Choying

Isn't cl for local us listings only? Could be because you are mentioning Phillipines?

Did you post in the Philippines section(Do they have one?) or your local section or other?

If it wasn't in the Philippines section, then your ad was in the wrong place.

If your ad mentioned looking for really cheap rates, the higher priced writers will get mad and flag your ad as they consider it an insult to their profession.

    It happens.

On the flipside - if your ad was really well written, paid a decent rate, and looked appealing, writers will flag it to keep the competition from seeing it - they generally apply first, though. I've seen a lot of comments complaining about this kind of thing on Deb Ng's site.

There's a help forum in Craigslist where you can post a copy of your banned thread and people will tell you why it was banned.

It's at craigslist.org/forums and then the link is "flag help" or something.

Thanks everyone.. I posted it on CL under Philippines -> Manila.

I will take a look at bestjobs.ph. Anyone else can refer me to Philippino writers?

It is because people there are flag happy. I have been trying to sell a car there for weeks and the ad gets flagged within 2 minutes also.

Might be time to use my EAP software and flood CL until I sell the damn car

Does kijiji operate in the Philippines? At least here in Calgary they are working a bit better than CL for me, and they probably don't have the same flag happy community.
