7 Habits Millionaires and Billionaires...

Do millionaires and billionaires have different habits than regular good tax paying folk? Yup, they sure do! If you're looking for an article like this one, then most likely you're trying to figure out how to become a millionaire.

Good for you. Most people secretly believe that money is the 'root' of all evil, yet they buy tons of lottery tickets every week. Go figure.

However, with all that said and done, most of the good folk in the world are still trying to get rich and quick I might add. If you're looking to get rich, then you my friend are on the road for quite a ride (just as long as you don't quit too easily).

Your going to learn a lot about the world, your extended brothers and sisters on this planet and most of all about yourself.

Any way, here we go-

The millionaire's financial 'thermostat' is set for millions of dollars. The Billionaire's thermostat is set for billions. So in essence, the billionaire basically does the same things as the millionaire except for one thing.

He or she is a bigger thinker. He or she has a higher limiting ceiling. He or she is playing a bigger game.

Here are the 7 Habits that the two share:

1- Driven:
They have a white flame of burning desire that will not go out. Sure it may flicker from time to time but it never extinguishes. These types of people are doomed to success. What I mean is that they can not come off their path when they see a road block. Something inside just keeps them going until they reach their goals no matter what.

2- Focused:
They are focused on only one thing; the end result. They know better to keep their gaze off of things that are undesirable. They know what they want in life and will not stop until they either have it or they die trying. They have a laser beam focus.

3- Deserving:
They truly believe that they are deserving of their goals and dreams. Most people will not attempt anything that is extra ordinary only because they do not truly believe that they deserve it deep down. If you do not deserve this thing that you desire, then who the heck does? Oprah?

4- Committed:
They are committed to success. I said this before and I will say it again. They will not stop until they either have success or they die trying. If you put your guts into something, it has to work.

5- Constant Growth:
These people always remain students in life. No matter what level of education that they have, they keep on learning and up grading themselves. They never claim to be a know it all and stop learning.

6- Belief:
They believe in themselves and what they are after. The most successful people in the world have been called crazy crackpots by their friends and families. Look at the guy who created the light bulb, or the chicken guy Kernel Sanders, so many people told him that no one would buy his stinking chicken recipe.

Now there is a KFC on almost every busy street corner in the US and Canada. You have got to believe in yourself and your mission no matter who tells you differently.

7- High Level of Self Discipline:
They are good at supervising themselves. They make sure that they keep on track of goals and quotas. They make sure to get it done even when they don't feel like it.

They are willing to go the extra mile if need be. They are very good or even great about being their own 'bosses'.

One of the most important habits that I didn't mention above is - Millionaires and billionaires don't really make it a habit of listening to the news. Most of the masses listen to the news 'religiously'.

Yes one of the most common habits of poor people is the fact that they rely on and listen to the media for daily tips on traffic, finance and even crime topics. Wow. People, who have become millionaires from the bottom up, had learned early on to stay away from the news.

The daily news is 'controlled' by controllers who have no regard for you or your loved ones.

Do you believe me?

Well I sure hope you do.

Well that concludes my 7 habits of millionaires and billionaires.

    Hi Rory,

Yes, I like your comment on taking advice from the media.

I know I have invested in stocks at times. I found that the
"experts" on the market were no better than I was!

Most people are sheep in their beliefs, actions, attitudes,
    clothes, etc. A sad testament.........

Some great "habits" to form there.
With those millionaires and billionaires they are more like "behaviors" rather than habits...a habit starts off as a discipline, then it becomes a "habit" then it becomes a "behavior" then those "behaviors" create POSITIVE REALITIES.
    It's...Discipline > Habit > Behavior > Reality

well the difference beteen milionairs and billionaires ..is billion aire make a large number of other people millionaires ..

bill gates how many microsoft millionaires and the is at least one other billionaire .. waren buffet /charles monger and how many companies they own that probably produced millionaires

the google guys .. amazon, face book

the people reporting the news and in the media are generally in todays world collevist socialistic minded ..while you get fox news that is as big as it is because it raises fears and plays the victim of this other mindset ..

here is what is really happening ..you get the anti wealth show you see in the media ..that is basically just erecting wall to new people getting rich..while the people who already have money are given a huge number of ways to make money with that money .

now a lot of millionaires get rich fast and most billionaires made it in a lifetime or much faster ..

the problem with making it fast is a lot learn how to spend it just as fast ..

if you want to get rich and stay rich figure out how to help as many other people get rich or build wealth as you can ..or howto make the wealthy ..more wealth ..

Well maybe billionaires but many millionaires nowadays live a very 'modest' lifestyle Odahh and are more careful with their spending habits (if they want to remain a millionaire).

Just like in the book the Millionaire Next Door:

yes i do remember something when listening to millionaire next door about antique furniture and things that hold their value or will gain value over time

there is a difference between high income earners and though who built millions of dollars in wealth over a long period of time

the problem with the millionaire next door type though does get addressed in the book they might be frugal..but they spawn offspring with spending habits ..

and trust me ..it may not have gotten in the books but there is always something odd that ..even frugal types will spend a silly amount of money on ..
