5 Ways to Accomplish Your Personal Development Goals

Here is a short video on 5 ways to accomplish one's personal development goals that I have posted on Youtube. Although I have talked about 5 ways in my video, but I believe there are couple of other effective ways too. Suggestions from fellow warriors are most welcome.

    The 15 essential steps to goal achievement that I discuss with my clients are that goals:
    1. must be congruent with your beliefs and values
    2. must be written down
    3. must be reviewed daily
    4. must be updated weekly
    5. must be in a positive language
    6. must be phrased in the present tense
    7. must have time frames
    8. must include a means of measuring progress
    9. must have a recognizable outcome
    10. must include all areas of your life
    11. must be physically possible
    12. must be supported by other procedures
    13. must be followed through with positive action
    14. must become your magnificent obsession
    15. must be for your own good and the good of all others

    I've got a couple great worksheets for setting goals I can send out if anyone wants them.

      Thanks for adding more valuable points to my presentation. Your last point "goals must be for your own good and the good of all others" is really interesting. In fact just by following that, our lives can be incredibly simplified!

      Thanks for your feedback! "Never give up attitude" is essentially the key to achieve one's goal. But here one has to be careful...

      If one is going in a wrong direction or working towards his/her goals with an attitude which harms others, then this is not called a 'never give up attitude'. It is the stubbornness or greed factor, which will eventually turn out to be self destructive!
