Hey guys,

Since discovering the vast potential of being an entrepreneur, I've become an extremely motivated to never settle for less.

My girlfriend and I currently work at the same job, which I really despise and plan on quitting soon to take my business full-time.

There are people at the office that really drag her self condifence down...the low rate of pay makes her upset...the long hours have us worn out.

Now, I see myself doing something about it. I KNOW that very soon, I'll be living my dream.

I want the same for her, but I don't want to impose...I honestly feel she'd benefit from a career change or something along those lines.

I've casually tossed the idea around of her going back to school, but she says she loves her job...contradictory to her "rants" and such.

Anyways....I don't want her to get stuck in a rut...or be in there with her. Thoughts? I'm not on some high horse now that I've been running a business for 6 months, but I do see that change can be positive.

At first it really did sound like a "positive high" as you mentioned, but it's not if you've been doing it for this long. It sounds like you're doing great, and can expect the usual ups and downs.

When I was working a 9-5 while doing marketing on the side, I had to sit back-to-back with a lady who never stopped complaining about having no money and being overworked. I felt like it was toxic to my goal to succeed.

Rest assured, you will get out of there -- you're not like all the others who just buy Lotto tickets as their only hope.

There's an old saying: "Don't quit your day job..."

I've had online businesses from the early 2000's where I've walked into jobs and quit because I hit a method and made some nice chunks of change.

I've learned from my mistakes of being so juiced up on making a few bucks that I can laugh about it now. Simply put, I didn't need to quit the job and put my reputation on the line.

Look before you leap and hedge your bets. Owning a company is NOT EASY. The reward is there but risks, overheads, taxes, employees, etc. WILL have you worn out just like your current job.

Shoot for an equal balance until your business income equals your day income and take it from there! : )
