How big of a factor do you think luck plays into your success? Do you think that luck has helped to get you where you are? Or do you even believe in luck?

"Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity."

    Hi Dukky,

    Great Seneca quote

Luck is an opportunity that had formerly been screaming at you to allow it.

We live in a universe of cause and effect. If it happened, it had its origin of you. How that happens, only God knows but the wisest seers and teachers knew this great truth and have spoken it for thousands of years.

I wasn't asking if you depend on it, I was merely asking how much it has helped you in your career?

Luck has played a major part in my biggest success to date. I put in a lot of hard work but knew that it was a 50/50 job. Luckily the product sold well. I think sometimes taking that risk draws luck to you.

Luck does have something to do with things, but for the most part my success is dependent solely on my persistence.

What some call luck is merely a product of the infinite intelligence of the subconscious mind.

It's just beyond the ken of our conscious knowledge so we call certain instances "luck"..... but there's a god-like part of us that creates it all, which is pretty cool if you think about it

I know that the large reason why I am where I am at today is because of my hard work.

But it was luck that made me want to major in English, it was luck that got me a job at a marketing firm because they needed a writer, but then in the end it was due to my hard work that I was in the situation to utilize that opportunity.

I would not credit luck for success. opportunities are always staring at you the issue is that you may never realise it .

What we call luck is basicaaly getting enlightened or conscious of something we can do or take advantage of to our benefits.

I dont believe in luck or fate

In my opinion luck is something that puts you in the position to succeed, but it is your actions and determination that makes you able to take the situation you are in an utilize it.

Luck plays a role but interestingly no successful person before becoming a success may have appreciated or relied heavily on the luck factor. Still, luck is mysterious and what is more mysterious is our ability to attract luck always.

Some people wear lucky 'materials'(stones, gems, amulets) to attract luck in their lives and some percentage of them feels lucky and will continue using those things. And, there are some people who uses luck 'materials' just to stay even with their success.

As it's a mysterious factor of life, we should not be bother about the luck instead should apply the scientific procedures for getting our desires fulfilled.

After sorting through this thread I realized something.

Luck is an opportunity that we can't explain. It's no different from any other opportunity. It's just that sometimes we like to describe certain situations as luck because we can't figure out how it happened, where the opportunity came from or how in the heck we beat "the odds".

Everything in this universe is connected. If it happened to you, it had its origin in you. Your thoughts and feelings have a universal influence meaning that they travel......Everywhere! They can travel through everyone, everything....it's a tough concept to grasp but the people who accept this idea go on to live amazing lives.

Before you dwell on the idea of luck remember that there's a god-like part of you called the subconscious mind. Read up on it and you'll be amazed at what you can accomplish, and you'll eventually banish the word "luck" from your lexicon.

I dont and never have relied on the concept of luck.

In my opinion, if you keep forward momentum and always keep active and busy, you will eventually find your way and be successful. Waiting and stagnancy will get you nowhere.

yes I believe in luck, if the odds are against you, no matter how you try hard in your career, you'll never be successful. However, hard work should go hand in hand with luck and belief in yourself.
