Think and Grow Rich Fans -- Question

To all the Think and Grow Rich Fans --

Do you participate in a mastermind group? If not, why not, since this was supposedly 'key' to success according to the book?

If you DO participate in a mastermind group, can you tell me

- how often do you meet?
- is it in person or on the phone or online?
- do you start each meeting with a particular question to either the group or an individual

Thanks in advance,
Anne

I actually want to create one and already registered a domain thinkgrowrich.org but since I love this forum, I didn't continue it and instead focus here. Thinking of developing the domain is still part of my plan.

I've never been very good meeting people and making friends.

    [Edit ...]

Not meaning that's an excuse, just something that's holding me back. I suppose I've never really been that interested in joining or forming a mastermind group.

This thread is quite timely. I just started rereading the book a few days ago, and coincidentally, an acquaintance is inviting me to a business meeting next week, where people from different trades come together for a mastermind session every week.

I have never been to any. I think you are responsible for your own actions and there are plenty of place to get the right advice on here.

Yes I participate in several mastermind groups. We meet 2-3 Times per week schedule permitting. We sometimes meet in person, via conference call or via Internet.

So do you mind my asking -- is there a specified format -- like do you make sure each person has time to talk about what they are currently focusing on or do you alternate whose turn it is to be the focus of the discussion. Do you have a structure to the discussion at all or is it just free format, as in "Who has something they want to discuss?"

I create a mastermind with the moment.

Each situation I learn something new, when I am open to it. I have a close-knit group of network marketers who I chat with on a daily basis. I also exchange ideas with fellow Warriors.

I meet with a few select souls close to me, who know me better than anybody on earth every few days.

Here is my #1 mastermind: meditating for an hour daily. Nothing beats Perfect Counsel.

Yes. Once a month. This is an official mastermind group. I also 'mastermind' one one one with a number of people more often. It's been very good to me, masterminding.

I think Napoleon Hill would have loved this place! It would be nice to find real and not virtual master minds, but when I speak to anyone I know about starting a business or making money online their eyes glaze over. And yet so many people I know moan about their meaningless jobs, their lack of money etc. etc.
