2 minute mind mastery exercise

Try this:

Get a pen and piece of paper. Get a stop watch or something and time one minute and thirty seconds. Close your eyes. Relax yourself. Think deep into the back of your mind. When you're ready start the counter and let your thoughts run free. Write every thought that comes to mind in the form of a basic tag cloud. When the time is up, review your thoughts. If any of them are even remotely negative in any way, write a new word or phrase to describe it in a positive way, 3 times. Do this regularly and aim to fill the entire page with your thoughts as you repeat the exercise. The day you find that the page is full, and there isn't a single negative word or thought there... Set a higher bar, and apply it to your entire life, all your thoughts, always. Program your subconscious with this new program you've just mastered. Then you will start to see serious changes in your life.

Hrm. I should charge money for this stuff!

    Hi,
This is TOP class information, everyday we open our eyes we start the day, with a new emotion....like,maybe..boredom,Stress,Anger...or extreme pain,

To overcome this emotion, people use ..different "wrong strategies"...like..eating food till they tummy burst,.....some use alcohol to forget about their problems...some get "pleasure sensation yelling at kids....and some use the "bed wetting thing"..you know what I mean....and many more..

You give a powerful strategy..to give relaxation ..as the majority of the everday people's mind run on AUTO PILOT...

You don't have to ask money for this...Remember what you give..you will get back, THAT"S THE LAW...Not in the form of money..but in the form of a 1 000 000 000 things...Like apreciation

    Thank You I Apreciate

Right now... This very second... You have everything you need to be successful. You have everything it takes , and more , to become everything you have ever dreamed ; and more than you can ever imagine.
You are a success just by coming as far as you have...
DO NOT give up five minutes before the miracle.

Great post! We often have many negative thoughts floating around in our minds without even realizing it, and this exercise will help us be more aware of those thoughts. In addition to that, the positive reinforcement (thinking of a positive word to replace the negative and writing it 3 times) should help banish those negative thoughts away pretty much for good, if you do this consistently!

    Agreed.
Also, the money comment was just to help the idea sink in for those who are skeptical. Some people will pay more attention if they connect monetary value to an idea.

That's kind of the whole point of what we were saying here. That's backwards and wrong. It works the other way. Focus yourself, your thoughts, your choices, hone things down to a well working well oiled machine trained to respond the way you want it to. Then the money comes easy. Focus on the money first and you'll be fighting the alamo the rest of your life.

Awesome post. It really works well and is kind of fun. In the middle of the afternoon at work I took time for this and it made drastic changes in my attitude and my countenance.
    Thanks for the info.

  • An interesting technique Xception-Industries. Two powerful things - words and emotions. Both can affect our mind.

    That is a great exercise.
I would add only this: It generally takes 21 days to effect real change. So doing the exercise every day for three weeks will be the ticket to discovering real (and quite possible massive) positive change in your attitude and life.

Very interesting! I do follow something similar but little different. I have a talking stick and whenever I get any negative thoughts, I talk to that stick for few minutes. That talking stick is a reminder for me to convert that negative thought to a positive talk. It really works!

That's a good idea as well, however I would think it would be easier to lead to venting rather than productive thought analysis... Venting can actually intensify the negative emotion and perpetuate any negative cycles you might be feeding.... That's 'all in your head' though, in the sense that whoever controls the talking stick will determine which way it goes. I suppose the same could be said about my exercise here, I just think the written aspect allows you to take additional control of yourself in the situation.

This is a great exercise! Thanks for sharing Xception-Industries!

Every so often, it is easy for negative thoughts to enter our minds. This is especially so when we are up against great odds or under great pressure. If everyone practiced your exercise daily, it would change a lot of lives for the better.

Although you are not charging for this stuff, maybe you should give it your own name or something. That could be your legacy to the world.
