Internet Marketing- The Growth Machine
Internet Marketing for most, will be the most difficult yet personally rewarding thing a person could do.
When you consider the skills and/or personal attributes that one must bring to the table to have any success, I know most people are totally unprepared.
What I mean is this. Most do not have the technical skills to write scripts and programs or whatever. Most people do not have the outgoing personality with sales and marketing skills. Most people do not like to or think that they can't write. There are many skills one could have and use
to get their start on the internet.
The rest of us will need to acquire some skills and therefore will need to bring other attributes, such as determination and stick-to-it-tiveness, discipline and a willingness to learn and grow personally. This is not to say that a person who has marketable skills already, doesn't have to bring these attributes also, but a person needing to learn the skills must at least bring certain attributes or be willing to acquire them.
Which is why I say Internet Marketing will probably be the most difficult and rewarding thing a person can go through. It will lead to a person facing and finding the truth about themselves. For me, I had no idea that I would be as apprehensive about writing as I have been. I should have known this though, as I am not that outgoing a communicator off line. I had no idea how frustrated I would get after working all day on squeeze pages and
web pages only to have them turn out nothing like I envisioned. But I should have known this also, when I think back to the frustrations of plans gone awry offline.
What a person is and does offline is the same thing a person is and does online. If a person needs to learn and to grow then coming online to earn a living will present an even greater challenge. I say that because though a
person sees many opportunities and methods for working from home and earning a huge income, without the
discipline and other success-minded attributes, they all turn into distractions and opportunities for procrastination and all the other comfort zones we embraced to create the life we had offline.
We come into a land of marketers that know us better than we know ourselves and one will need to at least know yourself to stand a fighting chance. Which makes Internet Marketing a beautiful thing, because there are only two options for a person online. It is either to make the changes to grow into what is necessary or don't. It has been that simple all our lives and I believe Internet Marketing brings it the fore. Offline we could let someone else decide for us and just keep our job, nothing wrong with that I guess. Online it is your simple choice of Do It or don't. Change or not. Learn and Grow or not. Then there are only two reults, success or not. That's all I have to say about that.
