Taking Action Sucks In IMIng!! >.< Any Suggestions?

Alright so through the research done by Frank Kern, over 90% of IMers NEVER build a website online...

That means 90% of all IMers have never even started taking action...

Simply put:

I think this means taking action sucks so I'm going to give you a few free pointers to maybe help you start taking action.

I honestly spent 10 months fiddling around with IMing and online business before I took action...I was jumping from 1 idea to another and I never followed through with ANY idea no matter how good it was.

That's when I chose to study The $1,000,000 gurus online and learn about how they go about success. Since I've done this I have now launched my 1st WSO and I'm building my 1st website to rank #1 on taking action and time management on google...in short I'm taking action and I've never done this before so I'm going to give you a few secrets.

In my WSO The $1,000,000 Secret I've developed a strategy for taking action and I'm going to give you some of my best strategies I have to offer in my WSO for free because I want to help you.

Strategy #1: I got this strategy from Brian Tracy and I twisted it to fit IMing...

Honestly answer these 3 questions:

1. Act like you were just diagnosed with cancer and you have 6 months to live. What would you do with those 6 months?

2. What would you do with $1,000,000? You can do anything...quit your job, go sky diving, traveling, buy a music studio, hang out with your family and friends...what would you do with $1,000,000?

3. If you could do 1 thing knowing that it was impossible to fail what would it be?...this can be anything and this is your passion.

Alright...now look at everything you wrote down.

This is what you truly want with your life and IMing is THE #1 way to get it. It gives you freedom from a job, money, and a shortage of time....this is why you're here in IMing. You're not happy with your career in some way so you're finding another source of income.

#2 STRATEGY TO TAKING ACTION:

Simply put...if you don't do this you'll inevitably fail

Do your research and only pick one product to use to make money online...one blueprint.

Stick with each idea until you complete the product fully...every action they tell you to do...

I wasted months and thousands of dollars on this mistake and I got nowhere until I stuck with a plan of action.

#3 STRATEGY TO TAKING ACTION:

Simplify your life and add in working on your product/business blueprint every day after work. Remember...purposely set aside time every day to take action because without action your just wasting time.

#4 STRATEGY TO TAKING ACTION:

Write down your goals and work backwards to create your to do list for your goals every day, every week, and eventually every month. Over time it compounds into a lot of work and you start making incredible progress.

#5 ACTION STRATEGY:

Simply put...set goals for yourself and write them down every day before you sit down to take action...THE TOP 3% OF ALL PROFESSIONALS IN EVERY FIELD ALL HAVE WRITTEN GOALS.

#6 ACTION STRATEGY:

Plan out an action schedule and to do list every Sunday before every week and every night so you can use that action plan the next day.

I hope this helped some and I was wondering if anyone else had any more ways to take action...

Aaryn

I agree with you except the illness part. Granted I KNOW what you mean, but any negative you focus on COULD plant seeds for future harm… But I know what you mean and I agree it should be some deadline, like offer someone $100 if you don’t do something by some date, or an amount that you couldn’t afford to lose…

    Solid tips overall.

Find a driver, a motivating factor that drives you through thick and think.

To act you must be motivated to act and some of your strategies certainly give one a kick in the keester.

As for a positive/negative driver I so here you scortillion to some extend. The main idea is to impregnate your mind with the idea that your time is finite and you will move into action on on your wildest dreams on a daily basis.

It's just that I've read a lot of books that suggest focusing on an illness gives it substance. For example if you keep thinking about a cold and how you don't want one, but you keep thinking about getting a cold, odds are you will get one. I always focus on perfect health. I try to filter out the negatives as much as possible; it's just my personal preference that I picked up from other readings.

I definitely understand where you're coming from but human beings are twice as driven by fear as they are by their desires because fear=survival and desire=comfort.

It's sometimes crucial to take into account your fears because they're still there whether you focus on it or not...you have to account and face a fear if you don't want it to affect you...

The #1 way to do that is balancing the body's energy because all negative emotions occur from a disruption in the body's natural flow...

But what you say is 100% correct. The truth is looking to the left and right when you cross the road so you can continue to live your life to the fullest and be on your way is much different than looking left to right to make sure you don't get hit by a car.

        Thanks for the great perspective,

          Pure wisdom.

Life is a journey, not a destination. Make that journey a pleasant one.

I agree, a person is driven more by their need to avoid pain then to gain pleasure. Like you say, survival. But what I meant was to focus on something like illness trains the subconscious to focus on illness; I was just suggestion to focus on something else besides illness that's all...

ahh I see. It's true what the conscious passes on to the subconscious is what defines us. If you consciously see a an illness and you're freaking out about getting it...you're going to get it.

There's some really cool stuff that comes into play but I think the best idea I can offer is a technique by Dr. Maxwell Maltz called Psycho Cybernetics...there's a cheap version of it as well as a very expensive 12 week course called zero resistant living...I haven't had a chance to touch these in depth but when I tried them in the passed they produced good results fast.

Nightingale-Conant had both versions at one time, I only purchaed the cheaper version. I believe Dan Kennedy purchased the copyrights to that and made it into the full course. I could be wrong on that but if I remember correctly I believe that's who has it.

Yeah I believe that Matt Furey is in some control of it too...I don't know to be 100% honest. All I know is Maxwell is a genius and I'll be using it to change my life in the near future

hahah uhhmm really good question. I know of him through his Energize Workout and when I researched him I found this course.

It looks good but I'm genuinely not ready to test it out just yet but it's Maxwell's teachings so I'm going to bank on it being worth going through...and hey the beauty of online business is there's always a money back guarantee. If we don't like something we can genuinely return it.

I can say I went through the first week of it once and it genuinely made a difference in my life. I have a feeling it's going to be really effective mentally, emotionally and even physically.

I'm excited about this but to be honest with you I'm focusing on getting healthy again and starting up my business takingactiontosuccess.

Also I'm currently going over EFT and it's a very effective strategy in transforming your mindset and I find that it's profoundly improving my perspective of life. I'm mentally moving past obstacles that I didn't even know existed that was restricting my life.

Here's some more negative money beliefs I've noticed:
    • I don't deserve to be rich.
    • Only upper-class people get rich.
    • To earn more money, you have to sacrifice everything.
    • To be rich, you have to cheat and lie.
    • You won't be 'one of us' anymore.
    • If you have too much money you'll be punished for it.
    • You can't have money and love.
    • Money is inherently evil.
    • Being rich will stop you getting to heaven/Nirvana/wherever.
    • You can't have money and be happy.
    • More money just makes you want even more.
    • Your friends will resent you.
    • Your lover will use you.
    • Your kids will grow up spoiled.
    • Your dog will secretly hate you.
    • Your cat will know you're a fat capitalist pig.

This is a huge reason people don't end up making good money and the only thing that stops someone is that hey/she was told they weren't suppose have money...that's kind of weird if you think about it.

So here's some really cool limiting belief/emotional balancing systems that make you confident in yourself if you're interested:

      EFT
      The Sedona Method

Personally EFT worked better for me than Sedona but both of these methods will change your life if you're struggling from anxiety, physical pain, relationship issues, emotional issues, etc, these methods work incredibly well to get you into accelerated development...you reach your goals faster and you're emotionally more stable.

Same here. I wasted looking for the perfect program sold by gurus and wasted my money until I decided to take action and build my first 2 sites. Now, I am ranking at page 1 for my 2 sites at a least competitive keyword. I already made 1 sale each for my site. Not big but at least I am seeing my efforts nearing into fruition. Unlike before I take the plunge, never made a cent promoting the products from gurus.

I too have spent a year now not getting anywhere -- but educated. I now know quite a bit (and still have so much to learn!). The big mistake I made was similar to yours -- not following through on one path or blueprint before switching to another. I eventually came full circle pretty much back to the program I started with (or that marketing method, anyway). But now I can do it with a lot more intelligence and understanding -- instead of just following the steps I now know WHY and much more about HOW. I also finally gave myself permission to go after the niche(s) that excite and interest me, instead of talking myself out of them because they are "too competitive."

I do wish I hadn't spent a year getting here, but looking back I'm not at all sorry for the journey. It HELPS knowing that I'm not the only person who hasn't immediately struck it rich, so thanks, AwesomePossum!

      my pleasure chi-whiz,

This lesson is something that comes with experience. Countless successful traders told me to focus on one thing but I ignored them until I had the epiphany I was going nowhere.

hmm maybe you should try just one niche and wait until you complete everything you wanted with that market and yes, it's best to have fun instead of picking up markets we don't even care about in the end... plus if you know a market there's ALWAYS holes in it where you can step in and pick up some traffic and customers.
