When You Loose Motivation...

Hey everyone,

My names William Tha Great, here from Houston, Texas.

If you are human there are times when you loose motivation. This could be for a number of reasons. May be your not getting the results you hoped for. You might not be feeling good. For many people motivation is something that is hard to keep sky high.

I know there are many times where I want to be more motivated to do a task then I actually am. Then it's hard to get myself to complete the task at hand because my focus is off.

What do you do when you motivation starts slipping and your not in the mood to work?

God bless,
William Veasley

If you have people to work with you don't have time for all that. You have to keep moving or you let others down. Given the choice, most people would choose to die themselves rather than watch a loved one die and be left alone.

People don't seem to realize how important they are until something drastic happens. Human nature will never change and being accountable is what everyone of us needs or we get lost. Call it a network, company, congregation, tribe, family, club, whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.

I just remembered the pigs running wild all over TEXAS, tearing
up yards at night and destroying whatever is in their way.
How's that going? They caught 9 when I heard the story.

Sometimes I get discouraged that things are not going the way I think they should in my business. I talk to friends or family about it that will be encouraging. Then I go back to what I need to do and get started on my business to do list for the day. If you have a faith in God praying is the best first solution and then calling your friends/family to ask them to pray for you. Sometimes I get the feeling I just don't want to work today. But if I don't do it no-one will.
You have to be persistent in working your business, even on the days when its not easy, or there is no one there to encourage you. Maybe the day you dont feel motivated you may only take baby steps, but do something every day. You will soon feel better when you start to get things moving like you want.

there are times when i get discouraged and disappointed when things don't go the way i planned them to be. when this happens i lose my motivation to go on. when this happens, the hunger for success sometimes go away. when this happens, i usually go out alone and think about things. when this happens, i just have to distance myself and think things over, think what cold still be done and in an instant i'd be back with the motivtion and hunger to be on top again.

        Hey,

Thanks everyone for all your comments very interesting to see what everyone says!

I totally agree with this statement because many times I get discouraged and I don't feel like replying to emails or replying to my forum messages. For some odd reason I'm just not in the mood to do any of the things I usually enjoy. Then I take a little time to think, and I realize..

If I want to be on top of my game i have to be persistent & work through my lazy period. It happens to the best of us I just try to do something I else that would benefit me.

        Just my 2 cents.

        Thanks again!

        God bless,
        William Veasley

^that's a great remedy you have. goes to show that you have great relationship with your family. Anyway, another way to revive my motivation and bring back the spirit too would be watching comedy shows. It makes you forget your frustration and lets you lose all tensions. Laughing out loud and laughing my heart out simply work for me. It is such a therapy. I get back to work revived and refresh.

Tribes help a great deal. Having a network of like-minded people can be a source of inspiration.

Listening to CDs and watching videos too.

Identifying the Why in the What is the strongest driver for me. Whatever I desire has it's root in strong positive emotions. Learning to swell on these emotions creates a drive in me that rarely dies down.

    All the best!

      • I grab my copy of The Law of Success original 1928 edition by Napoleon Hill and read. Or I listen to Anthony Robbins, Dr. Wayne Dyer or Jack Cranfield.

One thing that really motivates me is watching MTV's Cribs, or some type of life of the rich and famous style show. The Gene Simmons Family Jewels show works for me as well. Even the home improvement and travel networks will do. I also surf the web and hit sites like bornrich.com to see the latest rich toys that I want. I surround myself with imagery of the lifestyle I want.

If somethings not working for me I then revert to "if it's not working, change it or try something different."
