Help Please, if You Can

They say the power of the mind is the most powerful thing there is and that nothing can stand in its way. It has the power to perform miracles and cure disease and sickness. We only touch the surface of our abilities with so much more left undiscovered and untapped.

If I may I’d like to ask for some help from my fellow Mind Warriors. I have a very loving dachshund name Taz (picture here: http://www.warriorforum.com/members/...n4OW5Kwu6h8pOM ) He is my best friend and is very attached to me and I to him.

Over the weekend he went deaf and cannot hear me unless I yell real loud. I have an appointment with the vet Wednesday to see what is wrong.

If I may ask, for those that believe in the power of the mind, could you look at his picture and focus thoughts of being healed and health his way.

He means the world to me and I would really appreciate it if you could take a few minutes of your time to send these thoughts his way, healing, perfect health, and hearing once again.

I’ve been picturing him young and health and listening to me and playing. I’m trying real hard to focus on the positive and visualize him well.

If you can spare the time I would appreciate it, and if you have a spare moment throughout your day an extra thought of him being well and healed would be much appreciated.

I really believe this works, it has to, he’s my best friend and I hate to see him scared.

I know the power of the mind can do amazing things and have read many times how people have been healed without any explanation at all. I believe it’s the power of the mind that is responsible. All we have to do is find it and learn how to use its power.

You may not believe what I am saying and that is fine, we each have our beliefs, but I ask you for this thread alone that if you do not believe that you do not say so in this thread. I need to maintain as strong a belief as I can and to focus completely on him being healthy and healed. I cannot afford to have any doubts, not at this time.

For those of you that decide to help by sending your thoughts of health and healing his way I thank you in advance, for you that don’t believe I thank you for read and not negatively commenting on this post at this time.

Thank you and God Bless everyone.

These are the times when our beliefs and reality are really challenged.

My thoughts and prayers are being sent Taz's way...I'm a dog person so I really know how connected we are to our pups.

Here's a good book on the Tapping method "Freedom at Your Fingertips:Get Rapid Physical and Emotional Relief With the Breakthrough System of Tapping

Also, there are holistic alternative medicine vets that use acupuncture, acupressure and massage and cranial sacral techniques so you might want to get some different opinions for Taz.

PS: Taz and Kit are so cute together...

Thank you so much. Yes Taz and Kit were best friends; I lost Kit to feline leukemia in March of last year. It was so hard and heart breaking and I miss him so much. He fought it for 3 years and I managed to keep him healthy, happy and alive all that time. But he just couldn't fight it anymore so I had to let him go.

I will not lose Taz... He WILL get better!

I recommend Jerry and Esther Hicks "Money and the Law of attraction" the book is not about money only, it's about mind power in general. It is very hard to heal others. The only thing your friend can do is heal himself. Every day in the morning and in the evening for 20 minutes, he must imagine as his hearing improves day by day, imagine hearing distant sounds, hearing music, people and other things that he can imagine related to sounds. The most important is to believe and have no fear, and of course have patience.

Scort, HI - Sorry to hear about this. My suggestion would be to do as follows.

Follow the law of attraction. Eliminate negative vibrations with words like "deaf". Replace that word with "hard of hearing". I hope that doesn't sound to crazy but it's certainly away to avoid attracting negative vibrations.

    Best,

    Ross

Just wishing you and Taz all the best. I have 4 dogs and I know well the quality and love that they bring to our lives.

I believe that the power of the mind, and the power of love are truly awesome and capable of miracles. I have seen it in action recently when my friends newborn grandson, recovered from from the brink of death to be strong and healthy. Believe, visualize and focus all you can on Taz in a happy and healthy condition.

Send healing thoughts and love to you both,

    God bless.

Thank you all so very much. Had Taz to the vets today then didn’t see any infection or swelling in his ears. Also on the ride to the vets I was talking to him and he was hearing me a little bit, that’s better than yesterday.

I have an appointment for Monday for them to sedate him and do a better exam, in the mean time I have antibiotics for him and eardrops…

Again thank you to all of you I’m in your debt.

I laid my hands on him, talked to him, gave him tons of love and never for one second believed that he would not recover. I simply visualized him healthy and running around all the time.

Within a week, he was back on his feet! I dearly hope that Taz has the same experience.

I've been doing just that and I have faith that he will be great! I was to the vet yesterday and he seems like he was starting to hear some already. He's on medication, and with the powerful thoughts of help you are all sending his way he will be all better soon.

I'm so sorry to hear that my prayers go out to you as well. I believe Taz's hearing is getting better, I don't seem to have to call as loud as I had to a few days ago for him to hear me. He's on meds and I think they are working. He has another appointment on Monday for a better checkup and I believe with the meds and all your thoughts of being well are helping.

Thank you very much. The vet didn't see anything, she said there was no sign of infection that she could see, but since Taz doesn't like the vets he doesn't sit still long enough for them to get a good look.

Monday he is going back for a more detail exam in which he has to be sedated so they can get a good look, plus they said while he's going to be under they want to clean his teeth.

So Monday I should have a better idea of what is going on with him. He seems to hear me at times and others he doesn't, or he's ignoring me, which he did at times before so sometimes it's hard to tell if he's not hearing me or blowing me off but I do know he's hearing better than he did on Monday.

Again thank you everyone. I'm in your debt.

Update. Taz is home now after a checkup. He's a little sore and they said he had a bad ear infection that they couldn' see from just looking in the ear so didn't realized he had it when they checked him out last monty.

He also has a busted left ear drum that they say is the result of the infection. He's on heavy antibiotics and should recover. They think that his hearing may come back after the infection clears up. He is hearing better since the cleaning.

Thank ALL of you for your positive thoughts, I'm positive they all helped and that together we made a big difference in his outcome. I own each and everyone of you for your thoughts of health and healing...

I’m glad that there was nothing serious that was causing his hearing loss, but since I picked him up he’s been whimpering with pain. I’m not sure if it’s what they did yesterday or they hurt his back. He had back surgery 3 years ago and they are not sure what it is that’s actually causing him pain.

He seems better today not as much pain as last night, but I’ve been praying and thinking healthy thoughts and pain free thoughts all day. Hope he’s all better and pain free soon.

Taz's hearing is getting better and can now hear me at a normal voice level, but still not fully healed yet.

As I mentioned before they somehow hurt his back while he was there and although it isn’t as bad on him as the first night he is still hurting.

I’m trying to get him an appointment with a specialist for his back but in the mean time I’m still applying all the positive energy everyone here has sent his way.

On a side note, does anyone know where to find a great back specialist for dogs? He had his original back surgery 3 years ago at University of Pennsylvania, but they’re all students, where do they go after they finish? Just wondering where to find some really good back specialist for dogs.

Again thank you all for your support.

I’d like to thank everyone for their support with Taz, his hearing is doing very well, but unfortunately while he was at the vets someone miss-handled him and hurt his back.

He’s been in pain now since the Jan 10 and on pain pills and muscle relaxers, getting him buy until an appointment with a back specialist on Feb 14. But last night my poor little guy was in more pain than usual and I’m going to try and get him a new appointment for today Feb 11.

I didn’t take him to the emergency room because if they handled him wrong and hurt his back more he’d end up paralyzed; and that would be worse than some pain now. I feel so bad for him.

There is going to be an MRI and then probably surgery. When he had this done 4 years ago I was hoping he wouldn’t have to go through it again; but it looks like he has to.

I know I’m asking a lot but if you can send some healing his way I’d be indebted to you.

    Thank you all again.

Keep the faith my friend, I am sure Taz will make it, with you support, and all of us on the Warrior Forum. Visualize him as already healed, and keep talking to him as you normally do, giving him love and positive energy.
Sending my sincere healing thoughts and prayers your way.

Well it's looking better the surgeon said he believes that with cage-rest and the medication he’s getting he should be ok in 6 weeks. He said if it was worse he’d be having problems walking and other symptoms.

So I’ll keep up the positive and healing thoughts to help him recover faster. Thank you all.
