If your in this for real, you must realize it takes time for the real hard workers. There are way to many stories of a few people who broke the mold and hit the jackpot.

But realize it takes time.

There are ads I put up a over 3 months ago that finally got traction and are now starting to pay off.

I just wanted to keep this in your mind that you can make money, but it does take time.

I'm so new at this that I really don't have online experiences to share...yet. However, I have been an offline business owner for years. The statement "It takes time" is true in both worlds. The things you do today, may not be known for months or even years. Here is a excerpt of the conversation I had with another just the other day....

Allow me to add one more thought to that.

With my offline business, 97% comes from a consumer referral website that a "Happy" customer placed me on. It was an unsolicited act on their part. That stemmed from someone else who happened to have my card. Another customer happened to find my card on a community board. From that, several thousands of dollars have been generated.

My point is this - Building long term relationships will generate the greatest profits. You don't know what will happen by placing an ad or comment out there, no matter how obscure it may seem.

Even yesterday I received a call from someone that had picked up my card 2-1/2 years ago. They just wanted to let me know that they were passing my card to their next door neighbor because the neighbor could use my services.

One can only hope that we all can create that kind of loyalty with our customers.

Quick money is very enticing but it is true, behind all fortunes is hard work. I have set up projects 6 months in advance, that required me to bide my time, before the profits could flow in.
