    People who try to pull you back feel like they are being left behind. They can't match your growth and most people will try to pull you back rather than feel left alone.

      Welcome. :-) That definitely makes sense.

      Sometimes though I think people just do it because they done see themselves as being “successful” (or able to create “success” for themselves).
