There have been some post regarding the Sedona Method. I know nothing about it. I Googled it but do not know where to begin.

If you use and like the Sedona Method, could you point me to some websites, videos, courses, etc. that work for you?

Thanks in advance.

    Hey Joe,
It is an amazing and simple technique. The book is simply "the sedona method" by hale dwoskin and the website I believe is Sedona Method and I highly recommend a releasing partner, it makes the whole process so much easier.

Sedona is all about cutting off negative beliefs in mind rationally. There're series of video for each area. I couldn't say it works wonder or not because everyone responses different. Try it yourself.

I've worked for a couple of years with the Sedona Method. Here's some background...

The Sedona Method, aka Releasing, aka The Release Technique

Lester Levenson was the creator of the Sedona Method.

There are basically 3 predominant teachers that I know of, who are teaching Lester's method. Each with their own twists. And of course, I'm sure they each probably have students that teach it. But these 3 I know worked with Lester very closely and were beloved students of his: Steve Seretan, Hale Dwoskin and Larry Crane.

Sedona doesn't teach a particular belief system or philosophy or psychology. "It simply offers you a very simple process to remove your attachment to particular feelings that may be holding you back."

You don't have to believe in the process, you just do it by basically asking yourself a series of questions while you are sitting or laying down. The questions are simple. Basically, they are: Are you willing to let this go? If you're not willing today, when? Sounds very simple, which it is... but if you have control issues, or fears like jealousy, getting to the heart of the issue is what it is centered around and then the questions simply get you to move your energy through and beyond the issues, rather than continuing to experience them as blocks to your professional life, your relationships, inability to trust, etc.

      I don't know much about Larry's style, but here's the website: LesterLevenson.org

I studied w/ Steve a bit and thought he was disorganized, but very well meaning. Actually it was a student of his who did the promoting that I thought was really disorganized. I think that Steve may teach the purest form. The other two have all kinds of add-on courses they recommend you take. I'm always a bit suspect of add-in courses - but of course, it's a primary way for the teacher to have repeat customers. Steve teaches the real thing on tele-calls. As far as I know he doesn't have a system or program that you can take on CDs. Steve Seretan site is Lesterandme.com

I like learning from CDs, so I ordered Hale Dwoskin's program on ebay. These kinds of programs are so expensive! So I find more affordable, used sets, on ebay. Hale Dwoskin's site is Sedona.com

Here's a bit about Lester Levenson (RIP). This is from Larry Crane's site, lesterlevenson.org/about-lester.php "About Lestor:"

"In 1952, after being sent home by his doctors to die, Lester realized two TRUTHS that literally saved his life. The first was that his own feelings were the cause of all his problems, and not the world or the people in it, as he had previously thought. He also realized his own feelings were what he had struggled so hard and long against. And this struggle was what had destroyed his health and caused him to suffer in every way.

The second truth he discovered was that he had the inborn ability to let go of his feelings. He discovered how to completely discharge them and their negative influences from his life. Instead of struggling with them by suppressing, coping and venting as he had previously done, he discovered how to totally release them. This put an end to his struggle! He found permanent happiness. And, he found the more he released his feelings, the happier and healthier he became. In fact, within three months he was completely well, and he stayed well for over 40 more years!"

Hope this helps! It took me awhile to sort through all the info out there too, when I first began exploring it. I have since gained significant freedom from a need to control other people, so the greatest growth I experienced was in relationships!

This was very well explained! It seems very simple but when you think about it, sure is powerful in helping you finally release all the negative emotions developing within yourself. These emotions can be very toxic and if they are not released they can easily drive you to do things you will later regret.

I am sure releasing these emotions will take time and it is a lot more challenging than it sounds. Either way, attempting to release these negative emotions will be the best way to move on forward! Well said Cynthea!

Yes, you can find some videos on youtube very quickly.

The technique is really simple. The power comes from repetition. I found that visiting the website and reading testimonials about all the people who used it really helped.

It seems rather too simple at first, but many people have had success with it.

You can go over to Learning Strategies (put both words together and add .com) and type 'sedona method' in their search box for more information. Hopefully, you will find some more information than what has already been covered here, if you have not already found what you are looking for.

I've used the method and have seen some success. First heard about it over at Tapping.com. I didn't stick with it, not that you have to but I read you will see better results if you practice it regularly.

The whole thing is based on what you believe in and what you want to change your life to and so on. In my opinion, everything is possible if you want to achieve something, but you have to want to change. All this methods out there is a huge money making business. just go to Barnes and Noble and see the self improvement section. Huge business.
I have to disagree with you on this. I am currently reading the book at the moment and it is not all about visualising like The Secret, it is mainly about releasing feelings and beliefs that can be holding you back, making you upset etc.

Aren't the majority of things about making money? You're on the Warrior Forum which is all about making money so what is wrong with the self improvement section being a huge money maker? If you go to any bookstore you will also see that weight-loss, travel, relationships etc. are big money makers and look at films such as Twilight and Harry Potter!!!

I agree with you that everything is possible but you have to want to change and these books are a great helping hand. In the last few years I have changed considerably from reading self help books and attending 'free' positive thinking classes and each of them have given me great nuggets of information. I take info from each one and see what works best for me.

I really like the Sedona Method and it has worked wonders for me already. Do I like everything about it? No, but I will be using a lot of the information provided in it. Will I buy (or get out from the library) another self help book - hella yeah, it's all about continuous growth. Will I buy another product from the WSO forum - yeah if it appeals to me!

The goals process that the SM teaches is the best part in my opinion. When I use this process and actually follow through, I find that it is virtually impossible not to reach my goals.

          Hey Crop Circle,

That's funny that you mention that as I am just about to start that chapter. So good to hear your review of it - looking forward to my bus journey home even more now. Thanks

I used to be a "releaser" some time ago, under the guidance of Larry Crane. His course helped me a lot. Things that used to bother me don't bother me anymore. He even had free teleseminars every Wednesday where Larry himself would host it. I'm not sure if he still hosts them these days. It's been a while since I've attended a call.

He claims that his Release Technique is a better version the the Hale Dwoskin version. Or at least, more advanced. Also, I do recall their support towards their customers as being phenomenal. They are always available for you should you get stuck.

I stopped because as I got more into it, it became way too new-agey for me to the point that it made me uncomfortable because of my Christian beliefs. I'm not saying it's a bad method. I still release during times of intense stress or anger and it helps me. I just didn't like the idea of sitting on my butt (as Larry says) and releasing for hours when I could be moving myself in the direction I need to go to accomplish my goals. I didn't (and still don't) have the time to be releasing all day.

I am a Sedona Method teacher. I was a student and friend of its creator, Lester Levenson, for 11 years. My approach, called the KISS Releasing System, is based on the original way he taught me in 1983. I have taught 1000's to release, be happier, and get goals all over the world. It works very well. Drops blocks to success and $ from the subconscious mind.

Email me at SedonaMethodKISS@yahoo.com. My site is KiSSReleasingSystem.com

Allen Says,The Warrrior Forum founder read my book, "Lester and Me", available by emailing me. It is about our talks over the 11 years together. Great reading. Read in 39 countries.
