Inspiration to getting started?

Hello WF,

I am new to IM world and have bought a couple of books on affiliate marketing and how to make money online. I just finish the 209 page book that I purchased in april. I've only purchased two guides on how to make money online and have learn a hecava lot from these books but still kinda don't know where to start. I think I am in information overload right now or just not believing that this will work.

I am actually thinking about starting a blog and becoming an affiliate of the products I purchased only and blog my online experiences so far.

Just as a place to start...

    My suggestion is to make sure you do not spend on products you do not know.

    There's enough free information available before you start spending.

    Too many "gurus" will gladly take your money, but you will be much better off taking the time to solidify your IM education and focus on what it is that you want to achieve. Of course, we all want to make money, however, the best foundation is one that is informed.

    Take a look here and you will find a great deal of free input and direction before spending hard earned cash on products that may complicate your goals and mess with your head.

    I think that the best thing that you should do is to find reaply good reviews on a product before you purchase it. This is so that you can get the most out of your money.

    You can also find a lot of great advice on the Warrior Forum as well as the options suggested above. Just beware of buying every shinny object that comes along because much of it is rehashed and resold to those of us who are just trying to learn the IM business.

    I've spent much more money than I should have just to learn that the best practice is to start earning money by providing a service, then create your own product to sell, and then add in affiliate marketing - that is if you want to start making money right away. (Thanks, Tiffany Dow).

    All the gurus say that your long term success will depend on you choosing the right niches that you actually enjoy. They must be in areas that you are truly passionate about. Otherwise, you will come to grow tired of promoting the same things in those markets over and over again.

    I think that information overload is the first problem that most people have when they get into this field. Just like anything else it should chunked down into actionable pieces. Just like you can't become a bodybuilder in one day, you can't learn internet marketing in one day either. Just break things down and take more action than anything else.
    The ultimate success formula is simple, know what you want, why you want it. Take massive action and keep changing your approach until you get there. Keyword massive action, which is where many people fail or lack.
