I'd like to share the following quick tip that I recently discovered which has made me more productive:

Eat dinner at noon.

I used to eat dinner at around 6PM and a sandwich for lunch at noon. But during that time I would be out of energy by 2PM and not get much done after that. Eating a hot meal at noon helps keep me concentrated for the rest of the day. I really recommend you try this if you have trouble getting things done in the afternoon.
