Internet Marketer's Mindset...!!!!

I've been using the Action Machine also, and it is a great piece of software. But after some time, I ended up going to an online stopwatch and just set a timer before I start each task instead

Beliefs are powerful and our life will always be a reflection of what we believe about ourselves and the world we live in. This is not because belief is magical or supernatural, it's just because our beliefs tend to determine how we think, speak and act on a daily basis.


for example:

• If you are easily stressed, you will find yourself becoming easily stressed, even when there is nothing to really get stressed about. However, if you are someone who is imperturbable, you will tend to remain calm even in challenging of situations.
• If you think you have limited talent or abilities, you will avoid getting yourself involved in that task because you believe that it could end in failure. However, if you believe that you have the ability to succeed in whatever area you choose to commit yourself to, you won't hesitate to commit yourself to that task.
• If you think you are lazy, shy, short-tempered, weak-willed or prone to addiction, you probably will be lazy, shy, short-tempered, weak-willed or prone to addiction. However, if you believe that you are productive, capable, confident, patient or you have a strong personality, you probably will be productive, capable, confident, patient or have a strong personality.

The point is... our beliefs about ourselves and the world we live in are self-fulfilling. They shape our experiences of life by influencing how we conduct ourselves on a daily basis, and this conduct then influences the kind of results we achieve.

I'd add patience, realism, and the ability to take steps slowly, bit by bit and day by day.

This is hard for some people because of the outrageous claims made by some sales letters. They think they're failing if they don't have $10K per day by the time their website has been up an entire week.

You also need an ability to focus on what you can control vs. what you can't. Example: You can't control your sales figures from a website, not directly. What you can control is your daily efforts towards increasing traffic. You can control the fact that you're doing something every day to build those back links, to create brand awareness, etc.

You can control continuing to add content, add value, add engagement.

I see internet marketing as a garden that I'm cultivating. I'm planting seeds and tending my little plot, and soon I'll get the tasty, beautiful bounty. But it has to come in its own time, and it won't come if I let weeds choke it out.
