Focus on small things also?

Most of us are always told focus on bigger things in life. And the worst part is that most people make this huge mistake and become entirely obsessed with their ultimate goals.

Creating long term goals make us strive to do the best we can. But to achieve a big goal we must have many short term goals also. If your ultimate goal is to be a huge internet marketer, then there are many smaller goals that you will have to achieve along the way. Like first, focus on making a good product, then focus on creating a good website. The key is to take things step by step and not get caught in the rush of fulfilling the ultimate dream.

I kind of agree. Its Ok to have some long and short term goals,

but we must focus in the present to get everything done so the future can happen.

Dont sweat the small stuff but dont forget either.

Sure - you should definitely put some dedication and focus into achieving smaller bite-sized goals as these will help immensely when trying to achieve larger goals.

I think that rather than focussing on the future, you should be looking at the impact that you can make today, no matter how small the step may be.

It all depends on the situation. I mean, don't focus on things in the moment if not necessary, especially for things beyond your control.

I agree with you Jayden - big goals usually take quite some time to come into fruition.

I sometimes find myself feeling stressed when thinking about what I'm trying to achieve with my business, but feel better after just sorting out tasks that I need to focus on this week. The smaller "workload" helps my subconscious feel better.
