Constant and Never Ending Improvement

You will generally find that most 'Employee's' believe that once
you have finished school you are done with learning. This is a
fatal assumption.

The truth is that when you finish education, that is when the
real learning begins.

This quick post will show you how changing one of your belief's
can have a big impact with the results that you get in life.

One Big Tip From Anthony Robbins
Anthony Robbins is one of the leading self improvement
coaches who has coached top athletes, leading experts in many
fields and even presidents. One of the concepts he teaches is
'Constant and Never Ending Improvement'.

How Do I Apply It?
Basically get in to the habit of thinking that no matter how
much you currently know, there may always be a better way.
A better way of doing things. A better way of reacting to something.

Realize that you can never learn to much or know to much. Every
person you meet, no matter who they are you can learn something
from them.

When you say you have failed at something; it really means you have giving up on what you are trying to achieve. All so called "failing" is simply feedback which forms part of the learning process.

The famous quote from Thomas Edison who failed around 10,000 trying to invent a workable prototype of the electric lightbulb before eventually succeeding. When asked by a New York Reporter, after failing for the 1000 time he said I've not failed a 1000 times, i've simple found a 1000 ways to not make a lightbulb.

This reframing of the situation eventually gave Thomas Edison a successful outcome, and is a valuable lesson to apply to our own lifes.

Wow, I dind't know that. But sometimes it seems that many "great" people failed a lot of times until they became who they are

I'd wager that most people people you see as 'successful' have failed or faced hard times at some point in their lives. Very few "great" people happen upon greatness without first running into failure.

Just to give you another example: Dr. Seuss encountered over 20 rejection letters before finally getting published.

Constant and never ending improvement can also be seen as the process of ongoing improvement. We should strive to improve how we think, do and act everyday. Self improvement is the best thing you can do for yourself if you want to succeed.

Agree with the importance of constant improvement.

Asking the right question helps in constant improvement:

"How can I do this better next time?"

Yes, constant improving. If you improve just 1% daily, you will become an expert in a year! As humans, learning and growing is part of us. Learning and growing provide us the fuel to live life. It can be simple things to improve like I'm improving my swimming stroke recently.
