"Man standing on toilet is high on pot"

        sorry, just couldn't resist.

Once there was a man named Bubba who lived deep in the woods way far out in the country and went to a barbershop "in town" to get his haircut.

Waiting and sitting on one of the chairs for his turn to come up,
the curiosity he'd been fighting finally got the best of him.

He turned to the man wearing the funny garb sitting in the next chair beside him and said,

"Why you got that black thing on for?"

The man said, this is a robe to show that I'm a man of God.

"Well, what is that funny looking collar and why is your collar white and turned backwards for?"

The white stands for purity and shows that I'm a priest, a leader of my people.

"Oh. Well what's that bandage on your thumb for?"

The priest said, Oh, that's just where I was repairing a toilet and cut my thumb.

Finally the two men had their hair cut and Bubba raced back
to tell his buddy Skeeter what he had learned at the barbershop
"in town" (fancy talk for civilization).

Bubba:"Yes, the man had on a black robe
because he is a man of God and a leader of his people." And of course, the collar was white and turned around all backwards.
And he had a bandage on his thumb because he cut himself
        while repairing the toilet."

Skeeter: That's wild Bubba, but I've got just one question,
        What's a toilet?

Bubba: "Shoot, Skeeter, How do you expect me to know...I'm not catholic!"

As I always tell my kids to kill them with kindness, especially the people who you dislike. This type of attitude really makes people who are nasty really unconfortable because they can't figure out how someone who they have not been nice to could be nice to them.

      "A Simple Gesture ..."
Mark was walking home from school one day when he noticed the boy ahead of him had tripped and dropped all of the books he was carrying, along with two sweaters, a baseball bat, a glove and a small tape recorder.

Mark knelt down and helped the boy pick up the scattered articles. Since they were going the same way, he helped to carry part of the burden. As they walked Mark discovered the boy's name was Bill, that he loved video games, baseball and history, and that he was having lots of trouble with his other subjects and that he had just broken up with his girlfriend. They arrived at Bill's home first and Mark was invited in for a Coke and to watch some television. The afternoon passed pleasantly with a few laughs and some shared small talk, then Mark went home.

They continued to see each other around school, had lunch together once or twice, then both graduated from junior high school. They ended up in the same high school where they had brief contacts over the years. Finally the long awaited senior year came and three weeks before graduation, Bill asked Mark if they could talk. Bill reminded him of the day years ago when they had first met.

"Did you ever wonder why I was carrying so many things home that day?" asked Bill. "You see, I cleaned out my locker because I didn't want to leave a mess for anyone else. I had stored away some of my mothers sleeping pills and I was going home to commit suicide. But after we spent some time together talking and laughing, I realized that if I had killed myself, I would have missed that time and so many others that might follow. So you see, Mark, when you picked up those books that day, you did a lot more, you saved my life."

Treat others, as you would like to be treated.

More importantly, treat others as you would like to be treated, regardless of how they treat you.

To be kind in all situations, to everyone, regardless of how they treat you is the best. Do not stoop to their level. Misery loves company. Your happiness is worth more to you than it does to anyone else. Cherish it, hold on to it, and never let it go.

Hi here is a One Minute Motivator I just wrote, I hope you enjoy it.

Make a small difference in someone's life today and you will be a hero forever. Few of us can recall the names of people who made headlines even 10 years ago, such as former Miss America's, Nobel Prize Winners, etc. Their awards, while great, will be buried with them and forgotten by most people. On the other hand, most of us can remember our favorite teacher, a friend who was there for us when we needed them, etc, from long ago. So if you seek fame, or just want to help the world a little bit, go out today and lend a helping hand to someone. You will be in someone's Hall Of Fame forever.

Treating others how you would like to be treated is a marvelous thing. Something that I'm striving for.

It doesn't come easy for me. I've been mean and unforving too many times. And I respect and admire people who practice treating other people how they would like to be treated.
