Google's source of revenue

What are Google's main sources of revenue or income? They are providing tons of free services but, to me, their revenue sources seem quite lesser. Just curious to know that.

    Hi oppurtunist ,

They are providing service as a free. But you might be seen ads in the all google products, which is there source of income.

In Gmail , Youtube, Google earth . In all free services google is using Google ads for revenue. That is the huge profits for them.
All are advertisers who are paying google for displaying there ads in all these places.

According to Wikipedia 99% of Google's revenue is derived from its advertising programs.

Google is making the money in advertising, the majority of which comes from little text ads next to search results.

In Q1 2010, according to their 10-Q [1], Google made 66% (4.4B) of its revenue from advertising on "Google websites" and 30% (2.0B) from advertising on "Google Network websites." The rest is designated as "Other revenues."

I suppose "Google websites" includes YouTube, GMail, etc., but the bulk of that 66% is undoubtedly from search.
