I thought that all of you might breath a breath of fresh air by looking at my site. I have created and spent dozens of thousands of dollars to create a professional website that provides honest, accurate, and in my opinion, incredibly valuable content for all of us to use to improve.

My website, www.seeksuccess.com is really focused on helping everyone and self improvement. Tell me what you think if you go to the site, I think that there are definitely a lot of high quality articles on their that can help everyone. The most popular article on google right now is called 'How To Deal With Haters.' I wrote it myself. You can find it at:

I started this whole company with one goal in mind and that was to help people over the internet through simple and powerful knowledge that everyone should know. I struggled with a lot of things growing up and I know I have worked hard to improve in many areas and have. I know that these exact simple and effective things I have learned throughout my life to improve are exactly the types of things I am trying to impart onto my website visitors. I hope everyone really enjoys the site and gets a lot of value/benefit from it.

    I think your website looks very professional and i wish you all the success in the world with it. I just have one thing that i have to say...

    When i arrive on your site i feel like there is little congruency. The title tells me that the site is about "seeking success" but your posts on the homepage are for "fighting back and neck pain" "ancient acupuncture..." and "the real life story of 50 cent"

    Now this is just my opinion and i promise i'm not out to upset or question your strategy, but nothing on the homepage tells me how to "seek success" or how i can find it. Actually your posts seem a bit random and are not targeted to people looking to seek success at all.

    As i say, that's just what i was thinking when i arrived on your site, so there's no doubt there will be others who feel the same way. I run a personal development website and every article i put on there has to be congruent with helping people to develop and grow. Although most of your other posts are indeed congruent with seeking success, i would personally re-evaluate the posts on the homepage.

    I'm not sure how you feel about my opinions but the biggest lesson anybody can learn when seeking success is to take others opinions and use them in a positive way to help them progress

      I agree.. the website layout looks nice but if I went to it with the goal in mind of learning about how to seek success or get self help and I saw those top 3 articles on the homepage I would probably be quick to leave. I would either change that space to show the articles most relevant to self help & seeking success or I would change that section to highlight your top categories.. just my opinion.

      Thanks for everyone's support about my site. My site really was created as a benefit for all visitors, not just the business itself. But I wanted to respond to some of the earlier posters, the point of the site is self improvement.

      The reason that a 50 cent video is part of that is because those videos are inspirational. They show how someone went from nothing to something big in life. These types of stories I feel strongly are incredible testaments to the power of working hard and thinking outside the box. For anyone who wants to improve, that is what the material is about. It is there to provide benefit to your life.

      I think what I need to do is ramp up SEO efforts (backlink building).

      I am also going to start using SocialAdr.

    Hi "seeksucces":

    I just read your article about overcoming fear. I actually did that gradual exposure thing that it talked about. I didn't like touching lizards and kind of freaked out when I saw one.

    I started with catching a baby lizard and realized that it was nothing. I gradually worked my way up to bigger lizards and now I actually can trap them and catch them.

    Another thing that TOTALLY helped with this was how I approached it. I was watching some vet show and saw them saving all kind of "gross" animals but the tone was one that I felt sorry for them (b/c they were injured). The way the doctor expressed empathy for them made them look "cute," even though they were gross.

    So, I approached the lizards as they were "victims" and needed some TLC so they seemed "cute" in my mind. And, that alone changes everything! I created a feeling that countered the fear and it was so much easier.

    TIP: your body responds to what you focus on. Your mind cannot focus on two things simultaneously. The problem comes in when your mind jumps to the thought that creates fear.
