Being able to get excited about the project or idea will help reassure the people you're working with that their efforts and money weren't wasted.

When you combine energy, enthusiasm and excitement with a willingness to work hard there is very little that can stop you from achieving your goals.

More importantly, these three things are extremely infectious. If you are energetic, enthusiastic and excited about a project then it will quickly spread to the other people you're working with.
