Being able to take fast action is a super achievement hack.

What's your goals and vision? Your why in doing this stuff?

Have some SEO grit and want to help out local businesses? Then go to Google and find a local business that is paying for ads and email them. Pick up the phone and call them. Don't wait for it. Do something now to get the ball rolling.

Want to be an affiliate marketer? What's your passion? What problems and pains are people having that need a solution? So let's say you love Fitness. Alright, don't buy a product, Google your fitness niche you want to target, find one of the top affiliates or products you resonate with. It's easy to get numbers! Email the product creator, friend him on Facebook, call him up! Tell him you're hungry to be his number 1 affiliate and you're hoping for a few tips or techniques that have been working well for his other affiliates. Yea baby!

This applies to anything. Wanna lose weight? Get off the couch and walk around the block, call up a personal trainer and buy a months sessions.

It applies in anything. Once you procrastinate, once time eats it up, you won't get back to actually doing it.

Don't get caught in the details above though it's sound advise. This is all about the mindset of charting your course and then finding one small or quick action you can take right away to solidify that decision.

Live in the Now.

Wow and NOW! I like it.

Procrastination. We all are guilty of the Seven deadly sins ( well if it's not one of the Seven sins then it should be) as it can destroy your confidence and self esteem, as well leaving you broke. We feel bad inside and guilty yet we don't take the appropriate action. Unfortunately, this state drains the positive energy we might have in us.

    So thanks for sharing Brandon.

Come on guys let's not be so focused on results that we freak ourselves out of taking action!

Let's pump ourselves up with gratitude for what we have and the gift of life and let's take inspired action based on what our heart is telling us.

Great and simple concept. Nearly everyone knows it but hardly anyone does it.

As soon as we think of doing something and want to start acting on it our
brain kicks in and comes up with hundred reasons why we shouldn't do it now.

Sometimes we are our own worst enemy.

Very very true man. I think we're almost almost always our worst enemy.

Seth Godin calls it the good ole' Lizard Brain.

The first step is in recognizing it then you can just feel the fear and do the dang thing.

I have another little phrase that helps me stay on track that I call the D.O.D. Method.

I've got it standing for several things but mainly, Do On Deadlines, and Do On Dreams.

When I can connect a real tangible deadline to get it done, and attach a dream that really pumps me up and charges me then I am much more likely to knock it out of the park.

      Cheers guys

It's a daily battle buddy. Don't wait, just start taking some little actions and you'll get some momentum going.

Another thing that helps me get started is to lower my expectations. Sounds counter intuitive but it works.

I think a lot of folks are like me. When they start a project they want it to be a homerun right off the bat. Zero failure, big success, and it keeps you from doing anything.

So instead, I lower my start-up expectations. I'll say I'll put xyz out there to the world and just see what happens. I'll do my best on it, and be highly ethical and seeking to add value to the world, but if it tanks or doesn't do well? That's OK! Experience will be learned and on to the next project with a bit more experience and skill.

Or you can treat things as a test which I really love to do. It takes you and your ego and fear out of things.

What if I call up 10 businesses today?
What if I tried this tactic to build my list?
      What if I....

Treat it like you're a mad scientist in a lab doing crazy experiments. If something goes wrong you didn't fail! The experiment did!

I hope that makes sense. It's a mindshift change to how you approach things and it has helped me immensely.

“Live this day as if it will be your last. Remember that you will only find ''tomorrow'' on the calendars of fools.

Forget yesterday's defeats and ignore the problems of tomorrow. This is it. Doomsday. All you have. Make it the best day of your year.

The saddest words you can ever utter are, ''If I had my life to live over again.
''Take the baton, now. Run with it! This is your day! Beginning today, treat everyone you meet, friend or foe, loved one or stranger, as if they were going to be dead at midnight. Extend to each person, no matter how trivial the contact, all the care and kindness and understanding and love that you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.”- Og Mandino

My favorite quote from Mad Men which applies.

"Pick a profession, then become the person who does it"

    Or something along those lines.
