My mission is to leave behind a dynasty for my family, rather than just the house and cars. I recently took out a $1 million life insurance policy on myself, so that if something were to happen to me in the next 30 years, there will be a nice chunk of change for my beneficiaries. I also have a couple permanent policies in place of lesser amounts. It's really nice to be able to afford these type of things. When approached about life insurance long ago, there was just no way to afford it. It's hard to justify spending a few hundred bucks a month on something that will only pay off when I die. But it's also one of the most selfless things I can do, and a great way to invest in my families future. Now that I have the extra funds to do this, my pillow feels so much softer at night when I lay down to rest. Knowing, that no matter what, my family will be financially secure even if I'm gone. That was my mission, and I've taken some of the steps necessary to achieving it.
