I know this topic was discussed this forum before, but I am posting it again to make the newbies realize how important it is!!

You will come across many opportunities in the IM industry, specially if you hang around in this forum for a week you will see plenty of ways of making money. But the question is, are you going to take action now???

This very crucial for everyone. Stop thinking if it's gonna work or not. Just do it and do it now.

    The biggest opportunity the internet has to offer is the opportunity to waste time chasing rainbows instead of creating products and services and selling them.

    Isn't that what every Guru has going for them?

    They create and promote their own products and services.

    Do as the gurus do.... Stop chasing opportunities.

    Start creating and promoting your own products and services.

    Make sure it solves problems for people and then sell like a guru does.

    Without your own product or service to sell you don't have a cash register to stand behind. So you'll end up wasting a lot of time standing in front of other peoples cash registers when its much better to be ringing up sales on your own.

      I agree Steve. This is the ultimate way. I am fairly new in this forum with previous experience in IM. I made plenty of money in the past selling my own service like backlinks and being a VA.

    You are absolutely right Steve, its just crazy that the Internet could be your biggest money maker but it can also be your biggest time waster.

    And let's not forget, it's always helpful if we have clear S.M.A.R.T. goals of what we want to accomplish.

    It's best if we divide those bigger goals into smaller goals. "How do you eat an elephant? piece by piece" and "Rome wasn't built in a day" come to my mind when thinking of a very biiiiiiiiig goal!

    For those who still have problems with taking action, I recommend basecamp, the action machine and/or simpleology (dot com). Hope this helped!

    ACTION is the KEY! Imperfect action is better than no action..This can be implied outside of IM, for instance I have been putting off something at my home because I was afraid to screw it up...finally i just started to do it and feel a whole lot better about it because I took action..I ve got a yard that is dug up but Im taking action, focus on one thing at a time, complete it and move on!
