Is it just me or....

Are most people way too overwhelmed with the technical side of internet marketing, and not enough on the mindset of success?

To me, this is far more important because your mindset is vital in gaining the drive to succeed....as well as learning from your failures rather than throwing in the towel.

I ask that we all take a step back from buying the next "hot product," and focus on our mindset. Clear all negative, and really learn who you are. Once you are happy with the person that you TRULY are, you can raise the bar upon both your good and bad characteristics, focusing on the good while improving the bad.

I hope this will help someone realize how we all get caught up in the rat race, and opens their eyes to the need to slow down. Take your time. Live.

    Fortunately,much of the technical stuff can be outsorced. You're right, jamiller, a person's mind is very powerful. It can bring either good or bad results out of the same set of circustances.

    We have to know what we want and work on moving toward it everyday. It is important to stay focused. We can't ever give up.

    You shouldnt be worried for the tech part as there is google who can help us out. Or you can outsource it. But the right mindset is the way to success.

    Outsourcing is a wonderful thing, and definitely allows more time to focus on self.

    In IM, many people lost their interest after only few days of trying. probably they like to earn from the very first day of starting. Mindset is important. Learning through mistake will come only from a positive mindset.

    I agree with the post above. After learning the tec stuff, you can outsource it and have someone else do it.

    You can't outsource a good mindset though.

    Focusing on learning technical aspects does not equate to the mindset being ignored, or even negative. That's a pretty weak argument actually. You could just as easily argue that those throwing their time into technical aspects are focused and driven. Feeling happy will make you feel good; but doesnt guarantee a full bank account.

    See how things can easily go both ways?

    It is easy to be overwhelmed by technical stuff. As Roy says much of it can be outsourced.

    Whenever one starts a huge project, there is the potential to feel overwhelmed. But, you only can do one thing at a time. Those that tackle a huge project find that they can complete it; again, by doing one thing at a time.

    The tech part is easier because it's more or less something specific that either works or not and as such it's often easier for people to focus on.

    Mindsets are "squishy" and so it's not really often clear or concrete what is good, bad, right, wrong or somewhere in between and so it's not a concrete thing like "it works" or "it doesn't work" and as such, it's maybe not as easy or satisfying to work on at least at first.
