Is this Posible To Achieve

I found and started learning about IM/SEO in April, by the end of May I got my first sale. Come June I made $43 with 2 small niche/keyword websites + boosting traffic using yahoo answers. One of my websites is on Top 5 the other one got sandboxed beacuase I overdid some auto-backlinks, :S hopefully it comes back. This month I've made $142 dolars so far, and I've just finished building 4 more websites. I've also got $5 from adsense on those same pages.

So... My goals are to keep building as many websites as I can, maybe trying different products, and be making $350 by the end of the year. If I do, I'd quit my part-time job, do this full-time, and be making $1000 per month by May next year?

How realistic are they? posible? probable?

thanks!!!

That seems like totally realistic aim to me. If you work consistently to a plan doing what you are already doing I can't see how you could fail to hit $350 a month.

If you have not started yet you should try and build a list. Most of my sales off my niche sites come from sales from my list, I get very few sales off the sites themselves, so just doing that might put you over your target within a month or two.

That's very realistic and achievable man. As you pointed out, stay consistent and you will get to these earning levels very fast.

I am even tempted to say you are aiming too low, but of course, everyone has different circumstances, amibitions, goals in life and abilities. So if that's what you're aiming for, go for it, it's totally realistic!

    Heya,

Like Trevor, I'd say you could definitely be more ambitious with your goals. But of course, it's completely up to you!

Anyway congrats on having specific goals in the first place. Most people don't even have them, and inevitably go nowhere on their IM journey.

  • SMART GOALS

Specific = Have both short term and long term goals but make them specific and most importantly write them down and tick them off as you do them.

Measureable = If you measure something it expands and evolves as will your goals if you measure them.

Achievable = Dont aim for the moon if you dont have a spacecraft n what i mean is make sure you use what you have right now, and that your goals are not too far away.

Realistic = Keep it real and know what your strengths and limitations are and learn how to grow yourself to be bigger than your problems.

Tangeable = This is something i really believe in because as you see yourself achieving your goals you build your self confidence and really start to believe what your doing is for you and that you deserve to be financially free.

My 2 cents on goal setting hope this helps you like it has me

Those goals are very attainable. Just stay focused. You will be able to scale things up when you have more time too. I think $1000/month is quite a low target still and you could easily make more once scaled up. I do offline predominantly and you should give it a try. You will be surprised how much you know about IM compared to average Joe.

This means you can offer seo related products to local businesses. It is very easy to do and you can make a good profit as well as providing a great service.

One thing I am working on now is making youtube videos for local niches, getting them ranked top 3 and then renting them out to local small businesses. You can also do this with squidoo at the same time.

By the way you will achive your goals if you keep plugging away. Keep at it.

    so you've set a goal...

    Why?

What do you really want ?

I mean, let's suppose you reach your goal by next May or whatever day you set. How does this goal or dream fit within the greater scheme in your life?

Is this a standalone goal, (let's say you've made a bet with a friend that you can make $1000 and quit your job just to prove you can do it) or its a part of a greater dream you may have(for example, freedom, quality of life, being your own boss, financial independence, giving back to society, creating jobs for others, or or or)

What will change if you make this happen? What will change in your life? What will be the same, what will be different?

Then, how about 3 years down the line? 5 or 10 ?

How do you want your life to be? What you will be seeing, hearing, feeling when you've reached your goal?

And let's say that you don't make this goal happen. What will be the same, what will change in your life?

It's ok to focus on the details around the "tree" but in my opinion it ain't much if you don't have a "forest" to look up to.

Well, I kind of feel like I'm cheating cause I found a way to direct very targeted traffic to 1 of my websites, but it's not passive google searches! on the other hand, money is money right, well, thanks anyway, all these answers definately encourage me to plow through!!!

Yes, your goals are very realistic. What you need to do is to work hard in building quality links and be patient as results might take some considerable time.

Totally realistic, go ahead and set some goals for the next year as wel to keep you super motivated.

Word of advice...keep a daily or weekly journal (either written or audio) - just a few notes from each day or week on what has worked, what hasn't, how it made you feel and your plans for applying what you learned in the coming weeks.

    Why?

Once you reach $350., $500 or even $1000/month you can then help teach others - develop your method and course as you go instead of doing it at the end. (From the mind of a product creator :-)

Definitely achievable if you work at it and build upon what you have every day. Use the power of compounding, if you aim to improve by even as little as 1% every day, well in a year you will see a massive improvement.

Someone else can do the math lol (it's not 365% btw).

The point is to improve and make progress every day.
